If you look back, the climb started around mid-January. then a period of consolidation then again about 3-4 weeks before quarterly report. I'm sensing something happened after the first of the year that could not yet be released that changed the whole game for CEMI. I think we are in for some positive news on May 7. What could it be? Possible sale was one thought. Improved revenue or sales for the 1st quarter was another. To start a climb post 4th quarter on no major increase in revenue at the beginning of a new quarter and no particular earth shattering news available to the public tells me that there is something in the works or CEMI is about to go through a change in life. This latest climb that has been going on over the past few weeks is confirmation to me after 2.5 months of consolidation. Hold on to you r seats. Revenue surprise, offer on the table or big government contract (US or international).
I wonder if the move up is a result of a good revenue quarter leak or rumor? I have noticed this happening from time to time right before past quarters. I would discount a possible buy out...but would more likely think that there is a positive revenue quarter or some big sale announcement coming.
Also, why have we not heard how much the Gates Grant was for? I see Gates grant amounts displayed all over the place...but why not for Chembio? Is this one of those, "don't tell anyone that was my sister I took to the prom", moments.? Gates has given grants for hundreds of milliions of dollars to individual companies, and then for just millions, as well......Where does CEMI fall?
And we still do not know how much Gates Grant Money will be brought in. Some of the Gates grants are huge! Im not thinking that the Malaria Grant will be huge...but I would think that it would be substantial.
