They are updating the whole web site now. 24 to 48 hrs is what they told me. That's why it is down.
They are working on there web site now. They where not aware there was a problem. I would try sending it again.
I agree.Don't understand why he is still there. There has been very little growth on a very good product. There marketing is horrible. There new sales reps for Lowe's they hired last year aren't doing very much either. Very little selection in the stores around me. Trex takes up most of the racks along with a nice selection of railing.
Everybody keeps talking about the decking market as a whole, but I never see any discussions on AERT's own marketing strategy. Just curious if anyone has any thoughts on this. It is very hard to find any of there products around here and if you do it's only part of the deck. No brochures about what is available.Fiberon has a better display at Lowe's that ChoiceDeckind doe's. If you have a product that is better than Trex's and your sale are flat and there sales are up, then it has to be marketing. There products just aren't readily available.
At what point do they start looking at there Marketing plan. To me it seems like this is there weak link. Good product. No marketing. No innovative sales team. I thought HIG would fix this.
We need more people to participate in the conference calls. I am going to try. I thought when HIG took over there would be more involvement with marketing.Maybe its in the works. I don't know. There page for leaving questions hasn't worked in a couple of years.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I agree and I wish someone would bring this up at the conference call. Good product, good price, but nobody knows it exists. There marketing has always been bad. No brochures anywhere in my Lowe's stores showing what is available. All I see are facebook posts. I can go into Lowe's and walk out with everything I need to build a Trex deck. To build a Choice or Moisture Shield deck everything has to be ordered and the customers don't even know what AERT has to offer..They could be a lot further along if they had a marketing team.
