    The Bear Case for WWE

Stephanie sold her shares to purchase a home for her family and as part of a balanced investment portfolio. If you recall she sold her shares at a much lower price before the big move in the stock price.

What on Earth are you talking about played out? the contracts are going to be announced shortly and we should be getting some info on the call when WWE reports from the WWE network. You may do what ever you choose to do and I personally could not care any less what you do but the stock movement was made with the UK contract if you recall.

Why would you sell now ahead of the complete launch of the new network including international expansion?2. You have new tv contracts for various international markets for example INDIA and the domestic contracts. 3. Massive product launch with 30th anniversary Wrestlemania to start soon with WrestleMania in two weeks at Superdome in New Orleans.4. You have seen some pull back in the stock price but IMO now is not the time to sell.

WWE has come to terms with Totino’s Pizza Rolls for a new promotion that will feature Sheamus on its packaging. There will be AXXESS activities sponsored by Totino's as well. Source is PWinsider
Get ready to see a lot more of these promotional offers with WrestleMania approaching , don't forget with axxess and WrestleMania approaching and with the release of Scooby Doo Warner Bros. and other companies are going to have massive advertisements in the next few weeks with all kinds of cross promotions I would expect. I am sure that I will be highlighting numerous activities in the next few weeks especially.

The network is not on cable and that is why the cable companies and dish are throwing a temper tantrum. The WWE while more risk has a whole lot more reward by going over the top with the new network than offering it on a network channel. People want to watch the content whenever and where ever they want and on multiple mobile devices.

Stocks that go straight up every day are dangerous. The network has been up and running for just over 9 hrs. There will be plenty of up and down days as news comes in. I am very pleased with the first day of the new network.

When you refer to the PPV income are you aware that even though you may pay $70 for the PPV that the WWE gets a much smaller percentage of that payment? Are you also aware that the numbers back up that the growth in the PPV income is not there and the distribution companies(DISH AND CABLE) are taking increased size for the ppv gate?

Sure you have a few minor glitches but as compared to how many successful signups! That is what they have customer service for. You have MLB involved in the distribution which broadcasts baseball games and they know what they are doing! Be patient this is the first day and this will be fine!

You may order WrestleMania on your traditional provider if they are offering it. Some providers(dish) for example through a temper tantrum because WWE is about to take their free money away. However you may also order the network and watch WrestleMania and all of the other content which is a far better plan and we don't split the gate with the cable providers.

What the hell are you talking about with AD revenue? the wwe has not gone ad revenue route in years but instead gets revenue from the providers(RIGHTS FEE). The providers then sell the time to companies who are increasingly becoming more comfortable with the WWE. Look at the divas show for example it has higher ratings than the show it replaced for the first year contract. So they chose to buy into the second year contract and can also increase what they charge companies to advertise on that show. So again when you have live action sports/action programming you make your content dvr proof which is favorable to advertisers. Having the network helps the contract negotiations because now the WWE has the hammer of we could if we wanted to pull the content off of tv and onto their own network or onto a competing tv channel. It is very likely that NBC will not allow the WWE to leave its two lesser unknown channels and will pay Vince what he is asking. $$$$$
The WWE is NOT broadcasting the content on the network until after the content is broadcasted on the regular tv. You are going to be able to watch a PRE and POST show on the network but you must switch to the provided regular tv channel and then back to the network.

Here is the reason the WWE NETWORK succeeds if you are a mediocre fan and you only order 1 ppv per year with WrestleMania it is 70 bucks. You order the network for the year it costs you 120 bucks and you get every single PPV past, for all(WCW,ECW,WWE,WWF)and all of the original programs.

Do you understand business and how much companies are paying for content? I doubt it highly but look at the tv contracts of the NHL and NASCAR. The WWE gets higher ratings than both of them. The reason for the network is because the ppv business is declining and you don't split the gate with the providers. Do a little bit of research before commenting.

UMMM no, I guarantee the tv contracts are not getting settled over the weekend. However with that said as I mentioned they have a fantastic person negotiating the contracts who got the strong college tv deals settled. Search his name and you will see he has a strong resume.

FYI CDKRAUSE Even if the WWE got seventeen suitors the WWE still has to wait for NBCU to match their offer. The domestic contract is not the only one the are working on but in an ideal situation they want all of their programs RAW, both Diva shows (1 is pending),Smackdown, Main event to all me on one channel. The WWE is in an ideal situation and they are going to be paid for their content! I am not concerned at all about the contract because NBC needs the WWE a whole lot more than the WWE needs NBC. Both of their channels get hurt badly and SCI FI network goes into a death spiral without the WWE.

Dish network customers and the DISH shareholders are getting screwed because of a jackass decision to not take free money from the WWE to air their ppv now and as I read it in the future over the pending WWE Network which will kill the current PPV model. Why on Earth would you give up on money handed to you that none of your competition has chosen to do? This is stupidity on a level that nobody understands. Dish network is being laughed at by news sources on this decision. If you are a customer or shareholder contact your customer service people and demand that they allow the WWE PPV to be broadcasted!

The Los Angeles Times reports that WWE has hired Chris Bevilacqua to negotiate their TV rights fees deal. Bevilacqua was responsible for the formation of College Sports TV and has negotiated TV deals for several college conferences.
