Average Warren Buffett's stock holding period is 4.5 years.
One should invest differently at different age.
It is interesting to see Warren Buffett's stock holding periods changes with the age.
In any case, I do not fall in love with any stock and use stock forecast algorithmic system to decide on my enter and exit timing with good results so far

Apple has hired Paul Deneve, until now the CEO of French luxury fashion brand Yves St Laurent, to be a VP working on "special projects."
No word on what those projects will be, but something design-related is a good bet.
Deneve, who will report directly to Tim Cook, held a sales/marketing position for Apple Europe from 1990-1997.

ALU is definitely risky, but with new management starting in April, I believe ALU has the ability to turn over a new egg. The competition is intense in the market; however, due to increasing demand for data services and networking equipment, there is also attractive opportunity available. Alcatel-Lucent shareholders will have to be patient and see what the new leadership has in mind. If the new CEO is able to present a clear plan and implements it successfully; Alcatel-Lucent might reach its previous heights.
AIG is overcapitalized and likely to engage in large scale share repurchases as soon as the Fed gives it the green light.
