Most of the jobs lost were in the energy industry (oil). Lower oil is good for consumer spending, especially now that that spring is in the air. Consumer spending drives about 70% of our economy, the jobs will be created elsewhere, which is not a bad thing!
To be clear, there is no way short of wiping Iran and their allies off the map, to prevent them from developing nuclear weapons. Just like Russia did. There is a reason we didn't start a war with Russia and it's the same reason we shouldn't start WW3 with Iraq. There wouldn't be any winners, just losers.
Every man in my family is retired military. The others didn't survive to collect benefits.
In my defense, I was expressing joy at progress with that issue. There will always be people (mostly men) who will not be happy unless we engage in endless war. Sad, but true.
I consider the action in FEYE bullish. I believe the large drop a couple of days ago was caused by HFT algo glitch.
Wrong. I don't side with Iran and I certainly don't side with the hawks who would engage us in endless wars just to profit at our expense. I don't know about you, but I have children who
deserve a chance to live in a better world with a better economy than we have now.
For thousands of years, countries have mostly wasted money engaging in futile and unnecessary wars. I concede that some wars are necessary, but imagine using taxpayer money to make life better for everyone instead of fueling the industrial war complex.
It is. Our biggest problem all week is low volume...When investors and fund employees return to work Monday,
buying will pick up dramatically.
$39 would be ideal. Maybe with a little help from a retirement fund or two.
Excerpt from the Defense Industry Daily - The B-2A will be able to carry 2 MOPs: one in each bay, mounted to the existing forward and aft mounting hardware.
The B-52H Stratofortress has been used in tests, but it won’t be used operationally. Any target you’d want to use an MOP on will be very heavily defended, and a B-52 run would lend new meaning to the term “suicide bomber.”
How many US soldiers will volunteer for a suicide mission?
The last I heard, they were largely a failure. But I did confirm improvement and delivery starting in 2011. That said, there are still serious issues with them...
Another issue that needs to be considered is that we do not know the location of most of Iran's nuclear facilities.
