About ten times as many people tell me they won money in Las Vegas, compared to the ones who fess up a net loss. Usually the losers only admit to "breaking even." Behavioral Finance 101.
Like getting a 16" pizza and asking for it to be cut into six pieces b/c you're not hungry enough to eat eight pieces. Watching JNJ for my blue chip account, and Dolby (DLB) for my growth account, just broke out.
Watching FB and Dolby (DLB). DLB is intriguing because there is an activist position in this under-followed stock, and it is very close to breaking out to new highs:
UPDATE on activist position in Dolby Laboratories
Date of Transaction just filed a "Statement of acquisition of beneficial ownership", which is also known as a 13D. In the filing, it appears as though Date of Transaction claims to own 2,618,250 shares. This represents 49.3% of Dolby Laboratories.
I'm following a number of tech stocks, including GOOG. The one that looks very interesting short-term is Dolby (DLB). About to break out to new highs, and seriously under-followed.
