But don't you think venture capital is going to want shares also? Why would it be preferable to the last financing deal?
I used to live in Modesto and visited San Francisco all the time. It is breathtakingly beautiful!! The cuisine is better there than anywhere in the world! Is the rent there expensive? Yes! So initially I thought, why would a company struggling with cash flow move to such a high rent district? I doubt this group is paying their rent. But to be with the best and brightest is obviously an opportunity for greater exposure. Good things must be on the way. Maybe I'll make a trip up to SF to see the new digs and visit the Fior di Italia in Northbeach, the oldest Italian Restaurant in the country. (Or so they say)
coldcoffee/bigbang: But you and Watsonhelper were the one's that first introduced the "Novartis Theory" to me. I didn't believe you guys at first because you shrouded it with too much hype: $15 Price Target in 6 to 12 months. That is precisely why I went you Las Vegas to hear Gerald at the Aegis Conference. I hoped to be able to talk with him about it, and I scored. I spoke with him for over an hour. I asked him: "Some people are reporting that Novartis is testing MANF for diabetes." And he said: "Oh yeah, people know about that, but you won't get me to talk about that." (With a big laugh.) So, coldcoffee/bigbang/Mmmshortsqueez/ or whoever you call yourself now: YOU WERE THE REASON I ASKED GERALD ABOUT NOVARTIS/DIABETES. As a result of his response, I changed my opinion. Upon returning home, I posted everything that happened and even acknowledged that Watsonhelper and Bigbang were apparently right about the Novartis/Diabetes things. So, that's the story. I have never shorted AMBS. I think I've only shorted a couple of times in my life...years ago. I'm not smart enough to short a stock. People on the mb...I'm telling the truth. Coldcoffee is whacko!!
zarconimous: Can you elaborate on the Bay Area thing and the people involved. My son in law graduated from the UCSF Dental School a 3 years ago and they lived in student housing. I'm more familiar with the restaurants in SF than I am the significance of this scientifically. Can you speculate?
I think this is an important upgrade for Amarantus. It will give them greater exposure. I think this is better than moving from a Toyota to a Lexus...
We have a lot of flippers who alternately run hot and cold on AMBS on both the Yahoo and I-Hub message boards. When it is in their interest to cause the stock to go down they do what they can on the mb to obstruct and distract shareholders from generating positive momentum. I have posted this theme on the I-Hub mb in response to people who seem to be obstructing and distracting there. I have had several posts deleted, yet they allow numerous posters to bash AMBS regularly!! Now they have limited me to 1 post per day. LOL!! The moderators of that board have some interesting motives! Beware of who you trust on either of these message boards! GLTA!!
Well, the complaints I had with Watson and Bigbang had to do with the huge expectations they were building; imminent "blockbuster news." Bigbang still holds on to his $15 6 to 12 month price target. That is what I attacked. And last time I checked, those "blockbuster" press releases still haven't materialized. Both Watson and Bigbang said they were within days away. (A month or so ago) Flippers profit from creating momentum upwards and downwards. So, I "digested the info"...but choked on these guy's huge predictions! Bigbang clearly is a buffoon, with his "sabbatical to Tasmania." Watson is mysterious. He could go either way. My old nemesis, Mmmshortsqueeze, ("Coldcoffee" )who I've battled on many message boards is plenty intelligent. He could be "Watson." Unfortunately, if Watson is "Coldcoffee," the great bio science posts are more often intended to defraud us than help us. Lets hope Watson is that quiet, wise old gentleman listening to me and Gerald in Vegas. Time will tell.
I really don't know for sure. There were two people who listened to Gerald with my wife and I in Vegas. One was a guy in his early 40s, and another older gentleman, who I never spoke to, but who sat in a chair nearby listening to our conversation. I figured he might be a shareholder and it was stupid of me not to go over and talk to him because he might be Watson. But, instead I was riveted by what Gerald was saying to me. For all I know, the younger guy who says on the mb he is "Robellingsen" could also be Watson. I don't know. But one of the two is because they seem to know what I talked to Gerald about. I wouldn't be surprised if "Coldcoffee" is not only "Bigbang" but also "Watson." What does it matter? Well, whoever Watson is, he was the guy who brought it to our attention that Mart Saarma in Helsinki got a 495,000 grant to study MANF/Diabetes!! So, for all my complaints about Watson, he is the one that first introduced me to the idea that Novartis is highly interested in our MANF/Diabetes. This is important because when I asked Gerald about it he said, "Oh Yeah, people know about that, but you won't hear me say anything about it." (With a big smile and laugh) So whoever Watson is...he seemed to be clued into that. I don't know, I'm just holding on to my shares, that's all I know.
coldcoffee (Mmmshortsqueeze): You know why I confronted Bigbang over his $15 Price Target and "Sources?" Because he reminded me of the con game you always play. You've taught me what a rat smells like. Something about Bigbang didn't smell right. Looks like my nose was spot on, right up until he announced his sabbatical to Tansmania. And it wasn't even me on this mb that first caught your "coldcoffee/bigbang" alias scam. Oh well, I'm sure you have 3 dozen other aliases you can use. But seriously, I'm flattered that you follow me on the mb. Good luck with whatever it is you do.
He has followed and bashed me for 6 years on a variety of message boards. He hates me because I always detect and destroy his alias scams...like I did with Bigbang. He'll never leave this mb. He'll use dozens of different aliases and drive everyone crazy. I've seen it too often before. Sorry guys!
ino_ate: I attacked Bigbang on his price target of $15 in 6 to 12 months here. I asked him to show how that could possibly be a reasonable expectation. Is that wrong for me to point that out? If you believe he was sincere...God bless you. You can send him a post card in Tansmania on his sabbatical.
Well, I'm not the one trying to short the stock today and have it go up instead. What a loser! "Let's have is discussion." Haha!! Great plan to discourage the troops. Your wife is a saint!!
I sure would like to have a "Discussion" with you right now, or a cup of "coldcoffee." There are flippers on the board who don't have a regular job, but make their income from taking sentiments up and down on the mb. You're sabbatical to Tasmania sure came at a bad time. I wish you could speak some sense to these flippers!!
zarconimous: excellent post! I think it makes sense. A big part of this financing deal depends on the stock staying over .10 cents for 20 days. AMBS doesn't get the extra 5 million or so unless it does this. But can the diluters not sell their shares until after the 20 days as well?
Postgost: Do you really believe bigbang is going on a sabbatical to Tasmania? I don't. He may have some talent in science...but he is using it to con us. Sorry, he's not the real deal. He has decided his "bigbang" character has lost credibility and he will try to use his knowledge about AMBS to profit by scamming us...through another alias. Maybe his new alias will be "Tasmanian Devil?"
