If the stock shoots up next week while I am out....then I'll lose. I can live with that. I have a feeling thought that it won't.....and so do you.
jamjon: Your alias has only been around for less than a month and yet you obviously were around a long time. Why have you changed your alias? Too humiliated over how wrong you have been compared to someone like me whose concerns have been proven to be justified? Maybe if you kool aiders criticized Gerald more instead of giving him cover....he wouldn't have pushed for that billion share vote and bought all these assets without any way of paying for them except through dilution? He knows he has you guys wrapped around his finger and can say and do whatever he wants and you personally will defend him. Amazing. You're more concerned about me than you are about the CEO who has never delivered on any of his promises and in the process has ruined this stock!! Wake up kool aider!! Get your head out of the sand and start focusing on Gerald instead of me!
He painted such a vastly different picture of where we would be by now. He owes it to shareholders to explain why things have turned out differently. Instead he is hiding and not answering the tough questions, or on CCs, any questions from shareholders at all. He is hiding information from us. What ever happened to MANF/Parkinsons? It is deep sixed? What ever happened to MANF/Diabetes? When will we start a MANF/Retinitis trial? In mid 2016? In the mean time Gerald and crew have been chasing every thing under the sun from ESS to MS to Georgetown. The Lympro launch has been a dud. No revenue to change the math. No grants for anything, let alone Eltoprazine. Randall Grimes, the guy hired 1.5 years ago to secure non-dilutive financing? What has he been doing? Financial engineering? Gerald is in over his head.
boston: Things didn't happen on the timeline GERALD gave shareholders over the past 1.5 years! I haven't put out a timeline as I am not the CEO, stupid! The reason Gerald won't take questions from shareholders in the Conference Calls is because he knows his timelines and guidance turned out to be total BS!! A mature CEO would have an explanation for shareholders, but because he knows he has "head in the sand shareholders" like you....he doesn't feel he has to come clean.
methaddict: On the day of the Conference the stock opened above .19 cents and closed in the .12 cent range....an approximate 60% drop in one day. I guess you were making or taking meth that day? Cuz your memory doesn't seem "crystal" clear.
It has been a perfect storm.....difficult personal circumstance, job changes, and a CEO's inappropriate guidance have all contributed to my current situation. And so yes, I hope to get back in to take advantage of MANF's potential in the future. But as I have stated many times, I got into AMBS based on LymPro's short term promise. I would not have gotten in based on a drug so pre-clinical as MANF. With Gerald basically feeding us BS on Lympro I feel duped. And I am out now. If I get back in in 6 to 12 months I hope the pps is where it is or lower. If it goes up without me, I lose but my kids gain. But they don't need the money for a long time....so they're good. My time horizon was shorter. I depended on Gerald's guidance being in the ball park of reality. It hasn't been. IMHO.
I haven't realized a net loss. Due to job changes this past year, I have had to gradually reduce my position until just recently....I got out entirely. But for the past 3 or 4 months my position was substantially smaller than it was a year ago. So I'm having to pay taxes on gains I've made, but thanks for being concerned about my gains and loss status.
I do remember! Absolutely. I was Gerald's biggest supporter up through the July Conferences debacle. When I was buying shares a .17 cents prior to the July 31st Conference....I had taken Gerald at his word about how Lympro as about to become the "Industry Gold Standard." As it turns out it's been more the "Fold Standard" than the "Gold Standard." Gerald has had to "fold" on LymPro hand he was playing and maybe that's why he went on such a huge buying spree with our authorized shares....to make up for LymPro's failure? Yep, you're right, I believed in Gerald and I have paid for it. I won't do that again.
I plan on re-entering AMBS later on in the year or maybe early next year. I hope it doesn't go up while I am out, but my kids would benefit. Hopefully I can re-enter at an even lower price and realize the gains I failed to get this past 1.5 years. And no, there really isn't anything much more enjoying than sticking it to kool aiders that roasted me for the past 9 months as I warned the message boards about the disaster that now has turned out to have happened. It didn't seem to annoy you when the kool aiders relentlessly criticized my concerns, but if it now annoys you that I'm taking pleasure in reminding them of how wrong they were.....that's good, too! Yeah, this is good stuff! The kool aiders have migrated to their 3rd message board in a year and are paralyzed by their humiliation. LOL
I'm actually enjoying annoying kool aiders that aided and abetted Gerald with their undying support as he raised the authorized shares to 2 billion so he could dilute the heck out of shareholders. He lied to us prior to the vote about the huge value building catalysts that would hit prior to year end The kool aid gang bought into it and won't hold Gerald accountable for it to this day. But I will, and I'l derive extra pleasure out of it if it annoys you in particular!
Gerald's guidance to shareholders regarding LymPro revenue in 2015 was that it would get a "significant portion of the 150 million RUO market." Then again he tweeted "LymPro revenue will change the math." Yet, he has never responded to Napodano's 1 million dollar revenue estimate for 2015, and 2 million in 2016. Astonishing! Gerald's guidance has totally been out in left field....bearing absolutely no resemblance to reality, yet the kool aid gang continue to worship him! That's weird. He should be fired for lying, or for being totally uninformed in his communications to shareholders about LymPro's true status.
I don't like being lied to. Most shareholders don't, except for maybe you and the kool aiders. You present your reasons for supporting Gerald and I'll present mine for getting rid of him. That's what a message board is for.
AMBS isn't going anywhere for awhile, so we can take the time to replace our CEO. I think MANF has some possibilities but it needs to be developed by someone with experience and credibility. Gerald botched Lympro!!
I think it says volumes that on the last two Conference Calls Gerald has not allowed shareholders to ask any questions. On the three or four CCs before that he entertained many shareholder questions. The only problem was he answered them with lies! That's why he won't talk to us anymore. Napodano has to kiss up to Gerald, that's why he gets to ask questions. And, he leaves his .20 cent Target Price in place, rain or shine.
You are right. I won't be expressing myself every day. I don't like what has happened but I hope to make lemonade of out lemons and get back in later this year.....when I suspect the price will still be down below .05 cents.
bothshallow: You're right, I feel Gerald lied to me and to all the shareholders all throughout 2014. I don't like to be lied to. It's not about me, it's about the things Gerald said that cannot possibly be reconciled. I'm going to hold him accountable until he comes clean or is replaced! Let someone more qualified develop MANF.
My kids don't need to sell their shares in the next few years and so they can wait it out. I am voicing my displeasure at Gerald's misleading guidance that has hurt the stock price over the past year. I intend to get back into AMBS at a suitable time frame. I suspect things will not take off until 2016.
