They have pre-ordered 80 MILLION new iPhone's, that by itself will keep AAPL from dropping much if they don't quite hit the analysts expected numbers. I believe they will meet and keep everyone interested with images of the new iPhone as well as the iWatch. Maybe announce another divvy increase as well just to leave everyone with visions of sugar plumbs dancing in their heads.
Yep a lot of call options got blown away in after hours a few months back, remember the surprise beat and 7 for 1 split. I bet they still have nightmares about that earnings call.
Maybe GOOG is taking add rev from YHOO whose display ad revenues declined 6.9% from the comparable quarter of 2013. I guess this was a convenient oversight on your part and wouldn't have helped your anti- FB campaign.
Have you ever heard the saying about never fall in love with a stock! You seem to have been smitten and I hope you don't get bitten by a margin trade. I'm holding some long shares and hoping but it's a small percentage of my portfolio. Biotech investing isn't for the faint of heart.
Never heard of Line app. I know Wechat is the most popular in China and Telegram is also popular outside US but WhatsApp is kicking all their butt's and is growing rapidly as we speak. All the other messaging app's are clones of WhatsApp. WhatsApp developed it's own network and the value of that network is the number of people who use it and will continue to use it because of it's popularity.
Yep it's just messaging app that happens to let you send text, pictures and video anywhere in the world on all the major mobile operating systems for free. We here in the US take that for granted because we communicate in one Country on one shared telephone network but the rest of the world doesn't operate that way. It can get very expensive to text and send pictures outside the US. Have you ever sent a text or picture to Australia or the Middle East and checked your phone bill for international charges later? You can't do that with Apple or Google messaging for free. You also might not be aware of the fact that Whatsapp is very popular in Europe, the Middle East and Australia and is the preferred mobile software platform. Please don't try to trivialize something you don't fully understand. As far as Amazon is concerned I didn't realize that making a profit is not important. Since revenue is king why don't you sell all of your possessions at bargain prices to get that revenue and see where that mindset takes you in the real world.
Whatsapp is more than an app, It happens to be a messaging service fool.
Amzn hasn't made a profit in TWENTY YEARS, fool. FB tripled their profit to $885 million with revenue of $2.5 billion last quarter alone. Do us all a favor and get lost.
What are you in 4th grade! I warned you all about this child a few weeks back after his endless mindless pumping.
Shorting a stock is very risky and the losses can be infinite. I don't believe in it myself because betting or hoping a company will fail for profit to me is immoral and UN-American as well. So off my soapbox I go and ask what about company's that are looking for cures for Alzheimer's or CF or MS? The list goes on and on but you must understand that the longer a stock is shorted the riskier the short becomes. If you believe in the science hopefully you will wake up to find good news sending the shorts scrambling to cover and sending the stock price skyrocketing. You also never know when a buyout offer comes out of nowhere which would be a shorts worst nightmare. In the meantime if you are long just sit back and wait or add if you can. Shorts don't have the luxury of buying and forgetting. They are a nervous bunch for sure.
I'm going to start ignoring anything that resembles wool from this point forward. Sheepboy has become quite boring and predictable as well, posts on down days and disappears on up days. It was cheap entertainment for awhile but it has ran it's course. Sort of like some old sitcom reruns.
What is wrong with you is a more appropriate question. Apple is up over 50% the last 52 weeks, they don't go up forever. Try a little patience and add on the dips or put your divvys back into Apple stock.
52wk Range: 59.82 - 97.10
Seriously, you are giving the Sheephead accolades? I think it is time for you and your one friend to start investing in mutual funds.
One of their directors, ANTHONY E MAIDA III just received 20k shares and promptly disposed of 16,534 of them the same day. He got them at $6.05 and unloaded them for $8.26 and retains 28,373 shares. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for the future from a director.
Comparing a dinosaur to the latest most popular technology in the world that happens to be in it's infancy. Think YHOO back in 1999 and compare to FB 2014!
