" Currie claims that the oil glut is now being sustained by production outside the U.S."
Russia and the Saudis are the main culprits outside the US and guess what they are both crying uncle. This past weekend, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak announced that Moscow is ready to meet with both OPEC and other oil producers to address the low price of oil.
This is an important development because It means that for the first time in nearly 11 months, geopolitics is likely to give support to higher crude – meaning oil prices get a new push.
We can expect something more from these meetings, as well because the "double whammy" of low prices and sanctions has resulted in a significant reduction in the value of the ruble. That, in turn, has created additional domestic market problems for average Russians. But the pain isn't limited to Russia. This "race to the bottom" is running every exporter ragged. This next OPEC meeting could provide considerable fireworks in the energy sector, stay tuned.
More amazing how many chumps can't see the forest through the trees. MU is heading higher after this weeding out of weak hands and profit takers. Down 30+ cents after $5+ bucks move up in 8 trading sessions is nothing to brag about, CHUMP!
MU ran from a low of $13.92 on Sept, 28th to a high of over $19 bucks in only 8 trading sessions. We all know a little profit taking was in order at some point. The best you can do is $.30 something cents on average volume? We are all very frightened of the big scary shorties. BTW don't quit your real job if you have one!

Russia's energy minister said Russia and Saudi Arabia had discussed the oil market in a meeting last week and would continue to consult each other.
"The market is possibly moving on speculation that OPEC and non-OPEC countries will find an agreement to cooperate," said Carsten Fritsch, senior oil analyst at Commerzbank in Frankfurt.
OPEC Secretary-General Abdullah al-Badri said at a conference in London that OPEC and non-OPEC members should work together to reduce the global supply glut.
"There is one problem we are facing: the overhang," Badri said, adding there were already signs of higher crude demand and of a drop in supply growth from non-OPEC members.
Why do you Christians always seem to have to lie, scheme or distort the truth to support your extremist agenda. First the lies about Planned Parenthood and now the Kim Davis fable about the Pope. Davis said, " "Just knowing the Pope is on track with what we're doing, and agreeing, you know, kind of validates everything." When in fact the Vatican said, "The Pope briefly met Kim Davis as part of a group, had no idea who she was, said hello to her, and moved on." The Pope did not invite Davis to meet him. In fact, according to the Vatican, Pope Francis had not been briefed on the situation and knew nothing about Davis.
Earlier today, the Vatican spokesman, Rev. Federico Lombardi, said that Davis was basically part of an hour-long press-the-flesh session and Francis barely even knew who she was:
“Pope Francis met with several dozen persons who had been invited by the Nunciature to greet him as he prepared to leave Washington for New York City,” Father Lombardi said.
He added: “Such brief greetings occur on all papal visits and are due to the pope’s characteristic kindness and availability. The only real audience granted by the pope at the Nunciature was with one of his former students and his family.”
Tell us about Noah and his ark, how the earth was made in 6 days, how we're all descended from Adam and Eve, although they only had 2 male children named Cain and Abel and Cain killed off his mate Abel. How the Earth is only around 7 thousand years old and dinosaurs never existed. Please enlighten us with your wisdom. Believe what you want, that is your right but don't force it on everyone else.
