In a telephone interview from Beruit published Monday in the Detroit Free Press, Talal Chahine said he misses his home and friends. The 58-year-old said he was the victim of a post-Sept. 11 atmosphere that led to overzealous targeting of Arab-Americans and Muslims.
The FBI isn't commenting on his remarks. The U.S. attorney's office in Detroit notes that Chahine has been wanted since he fled the U.S. in 2005.
Investigators say Chahine skimmed $20 million from the La Shish restaurant chain. They've previously said they thought he was in Lebanon.

Interestingly, if matters don't improve and if Linn's credit facility is not cut by greater than the $790 million they have in borrowing capacity today, management could use these proceeds toward further debt reduction. Buying back all remaining Senior Notes at current prices next year would cost the company just $282 million and would leave, using the assumptions provided above, $3.98 billion in credit facility borrowings outstanding (including a $500 million term loan) and $1.50 billion in Second Lien Notes that are due in 2020. Add to all of this the fact that, by buying back debt this year, the company will nearly guarantee positive cash flow in 2017 of $112.71 million ($130.48 million if they allocate all cash next year toward their credit facility repayments), and I don't see much downside moving forward unless energy prices fall much further or fraud comes about.
Right now, Mr. Market seems to still be bearish about Linn Energy and LinnCo (NASDAQ:LNCO) and I do see why. However, I think the risks associated with the company, especially after seeing the recent decline in the price of Senior Notes, has been very much overstated and I hold firm to my view that the future for the company looks appealing for long-term investors who don't mind volatility. As of the time of this writing, Linn is my third-largest holding and will likely remain as such unless the picture turns bad or until I find something that makes for a better long-term prospect.

One of these natural events or a combination wiped out the dinosaurs. The important thing to remember here is that these events eventually ceased allowing the environment to slowly recover. Scientific studies show that globally, volcanoes on land and under the sea release a total of about 200 million tonnes of CO2 annually. This seems like a lot, right but scientists at the U.S. Department of Energy's Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIAC) determined that in 2012 more than 9.7 billion tonnes of carbon were emitted into the atmosphere.This stat is the shocker though, 550 billion: Approximate cumulative tonnes of carbon emitted into the atmosphere by all human activities between 1870 and 2013. Think about that and understand this is not a one time event, it continues every day every year. It's all about tonnes of carbon and as these studies have proven man is releasing far more carbon into the atmosphere than nature ever has.

So, taken all together, that clause of the Preamble means "to provide for the guarantee of all of the blessings that are afforded by having liberty, and to extend that guarantee to both us, the people, and our children, and our children's children, forever.
