Linn Energy LLC (NASDAQ: LINE) announced the acquisition of $2.3 billion worth of natural gas heavy assets from Oklahoma-based energy producer Devon Energy this past summer. The deal includes the acquisition of five U.S. operating areas and is very significant. The company fully covered its distribution and generated excess of net cash provided by operating activities after distributions to unitholders and discretionary adjustments of approximately $88 million for the third quarter 2014, compared to an excess of net cash of approximately $2 million for the third quarter 2013. Solid news for unitholders.
Linn investors are paid a gigantic 14.20% distribution. UBS has a $24 price target, and the consensus is much higher at $30.64. The shares closed Friday at $21.50.
I added after the sell off following the CEO retirement news so I'm happy as well. Where are the gloom and doomer's on green days?
From $102 to $116 and we still have 4 or 5 trading days left. I'm sure it will go up some more because I just bought a 64G iPhone 6 and a 32G iPhone 5S for the little lady. Before you ask, she can't handle the 6:)
Down $4 to $5 bucks you really meant .40 to .50 cents right professor.
Great call so far. You are only down $6 to $7 bucks. I look forward to your next prediction, hopefully you'll get us to $60 the next time.
It's impossible to debate a liar so off to ignoreland you go.
This is the November report from the National Ice and Snow Data Center.
"Arctic sea ice continued to expand throughout the month of October, remaining at near-average levels on the Atlantic side and below average on the Pacific side. In the Southern Hemisphere, Antarctic sea ice has declined after reaching its record maximum in October and is now nearly within two standard deviations of the long-term average. "
Hey Gumby solar flares have no effect on climate because of the Earth's magnetic field and atmosphere. The x-rays from the flares are stopped by our atmosphere well above the Earth's surface but they do disturb the Earth's ionosphere which in turn disturbs some radio communications. The ultraviolet radiation can heat the Earth’s outer atmosphere, causing it to expand which increases drag so it causes problems with satellites and such but not our climate.
It's a big world out there and believe or not the US isn't the only Country with weather. Do you remember the last Winter Olympics in Sochi Russia? It was the warmest Winter Olympics by a long shot. The U.S. Historical Climatology Network reports that, since 1970, every state in the country has experienced warmer winters at a rate “four-and-a-half times faster per decade than over the past 100 years.” Weather stations from coast to coast have recorded the fastest warming is occurring in the coldest states and that winter nights have warmed 30% faster than nights in the rest of the year. Keep listening to Rush and Fox and ignore the Scientists,(AKA Global Warming gurus) who have dedicated their lives studying climate change. I guess you also go to your auto mechanic when you have a toothache as well, right.
As posted above you need to go back to school and pay more attention in basic Math class.
I see you deleted your original post saying I was down $2 bucks from my last purchase. Typical cut and run when your mistake is corrected. I guess you'll delete this one as well.
My reply to your original BS post:
" I bought at $19.90 and $19.60 which is average of $19.75. It closed today at $18.73 which is down 1 buck not 2 genius. Not concerned with daily price movement though and look forward to your comments a year from now, stalkerboy."

LONDON (Reuters) - Brent crude oil climbed above $79 a barrel on Wednesday on speculation OPEC may act to stabilise prices that have fallen by almost a third in five months when it meets next week.
Some smaller OPEC members want production cuts at the Nov. 27 meeting but Saudi Arabia has so far shown no indication that it will support such a move.
Libya's OPEC governor, Samir Kamal, told Reuters he thought OPEC would agree as a minimum step to remove from the market oil that it is pumping above the agreed target.
"I believe that the ministers will arrive to an agreement," Kamal said via email on Wednesday.
So your saying LINE will be back in the 30's with heavy volume because the Senate voted no by 1 vote to the "pipeLine". I'll have what your having, make it a double.
