no still have 10k $7.50 puts I sold that I didn't count in that number, and in 2009 they went up when they cut the distribution, so it really depends on why the cut is made and not generic. LInn had to cut
BBEP doesn't have to but it would be wise long term if it did and get in better financial shape meanwhile I will receive my $3333 per month and still hope they cut it or that oil rises substantially next year.
lawsuits against BOD and companies by stockholders is like suing yourself and paying for lawyers for both sides ie a total waste of money and time. It is almost impossible to get to the BODs and execs personally. The BOD doesn't care about anything but their jobs and that is all that is at risk
i love all the red thumbs, realistic as I probably own more than all the red thumbs together, currently at 80k shares personally I believe a suspension of the distribution would be a positive and raise stock price more than the annual distribution rate.
I own 6k shares of depo and I would have to agree, it is not the quality of either company separately but whether Hznp with synergy and tax advantages and a great sales force can do more with the assets of depo and make us more money over time.
that still doesnt mean the shareholders shouldnt get to make the decision rather than the ceo or bod. This is the shareholders company and I would also like a say so let me vote. I hate the arrogance of bod's and ceo's thinking they own the company and can pay theirselves what they want and dont have to answer to shareholders. I want my say lets vote. this is unamerican
anyone that read that article realizes that that was one of the worst written analysis that they have seen, the writer was way off line on every point in the entire article, 1) listed 10 companies to go broke in a week 2) stated that oil would double by year end. didnt do any dd and realize that BBEP was making enough off of oil collars to be cash flow positive through 2016. that was one of the laziest written hack jobs i have seen in yrs.
you seem conflicted you dont want Hznp to buy Depo and say it is not enough and that you will vote against it but then say they wont walk away You surely dont expect them to raise their price in order to get your vote do you They either get it bought at or near this last offer or they will walk if the vote doesnt go their way.
you keep giving him attention and you and others will join him on ignore.
both sides seem to be twisting the facts, the $33 offer is still there on the table although with the current market it should be pulled, depo holders complained about it because they wanted more % of the stock well you have it now. When markets crash so should offers. You cant have it both ways. yes the price is held up by the offer but not very well at this point because the market feels this deal wont happen in this environment. As far as your individual thoughts or mine they really dont matter. there are 8 Mutual funds that could make the decision for you and it was my opinion that they already had. You said in earlier posts this wouldnt go to 26 but it has with the offer still on the table, if the offer wasnt on table it would be nearer 20 right now. AS far as management you can look at any metrics and HZNP out does DEPO except wishful thinking. look at debt, pe, taxes, growth rates over last 3 yrs, income, expenses, cash on hand, leverage cash flow, true cash flow, PEG, pipeline, ability to buy other companies or drugs. depo's board is only interested in their jobs as I would be and those of its management.
jh is happy to see it drop as am i because the lower it is the more likely when the vote comes by court order the more likely they merge.
that is not quite true, the offer still stands at $32.50 stock and cash, $33 stock, the current offer adds option of .95 shares of stock so you have 3 choices up to closing or acceptance to vote on. this gives you a lot of lattitude in agreeing to the merger for the best deal at closing.
no i am like you wishing that hznp would drop its offer and go somewhere else it is the unknown that is killing hznp
