Thanks for the feedback. The big mistake was referring to the 8.4 m unrestricted insider stock. Have a happy new year to all
INteresting perspective. The press has painted Dewitt as the man who sells companies. Not certain if that is correct or not. However if it is then keeping Dewitt might be good in terms of a buyout . Haven't seen Mandia and not certain how he would present himself in public speaking. If you take away that big mistake would you still be against Dewitt?
I agree with you. But it would appear we won't get a Jan. surprise like last year but will have to wait until late Feb. when earnings are released. Plenty of time to play Soda one way or another.
The odds of Soda announcing a negative earnings surprised like in Jan 2014 are slim to nil. In light of Dan B. comments about being on fire we should be safe unless he wants a job change. Happy new year to all.
Your right could be a good etf. It was interesting in the top 10 holdings Feye was 3rd or 4th on the list of top holdings. PANW didn't make the top 10 but was 17th. However they really spread their investments like butter.
that's ok I'm backing the truck up. Good opportunity.
This stock buy back is a positve
If you use around the $29 book value then take out the $6 dividend payback assuming the value will remain constant your getting around a 4-5 dollar uptick to your current value. Surprised the big boys aren't jumping on this.
Bottom line is its hard for investors to invest in FEYE business model until you make a profit. The deferred revenue thesis/growth is hard for the traditional investor to swallow. With that said we have a good comparison with this model in CRM. They have proved this model works.
If you look at the ticker for the last several days you may notice a trend. When cybr and panw go up alot feye does not. the next day it is just the opposite. So your statement really doesn;t play. I could argue yesterday why FEYE was up so much and panw and cyber was not. Let's wait till a volume day probably not Friday (might be volume light) but Monday should be back to normal trading. Have a good holiday.
Just curious with Soda's push on healthy bubbly water and not the traditional soda pop stuff is their sales in syrups growth continuing or is it taking a back seat. If I'm not mistaken the syrups GP is just as good as the CO2 margins. Any recent updates ? Happy holidays to everyone
One thing we should not forget is both PANW and Feye are growing similar and executing well in their business plans. The only difference that PANW has is they are approx. 1 year ahead of FEYE from being public. Wall street likes companies with a little maturity but the net net is both companies are great and Feye is the better value play with more room to grow. Actually they are growing faster than PANW if you go back a year to show an equal learning curve. Also it would appear FEYE is more agressive to achieve their growth if you look at the number of employees they have vs PANW. With that said yahoo might not be up to date but they show feye having more employees.
Does Cramer any factual data in his statement on gold standards. To date I have not seen any factual data comparing FEYE to PANW or other security systems. I know he was an early FEYE supporter until they came out with their 2nd offering . He must have got burnt then , Does anyone have any factual data . If so also give a reference point that we can look it up. thanks in advance. Everyone have a good xmas.
