You are a perfect match.
Destiny is not a matter of chance, but of choice.
Not something to wish for, but to attain.
William Jennings Bryan, move over.
(In more ways than one.)
Geez, still fixated on the Yahoo! stats from two analysts? If you believe the "11" shown on the table, please provide us with the last. Also you might note that EPS has been increased by 5 of them in past 30 days, but the number has not been updated to reflect it.
You really don't give Linn much credit for buying Berry if you think it isn't going to be growing EPS.
If anyone thinks Berry is "grossly overvalued" then they should be calling Linn on Monday telling them to lower their offer to whatever they think the exchange should be.
For months people here have been saying LNCO should be in the low 40s. At a 1.25 exchange rate that values BRY at $50 minimum. Even if the deal would have gone through the week after it was announced, Berry shareholders would have received exactly what it's valued at today ($46.35 per share per the deal, plus $2.17 in dividends, or $48.52.)
Seems as though some people can never be made happy.
If you think BRY is overvalued, then you disagree with the three appraisals that Linn got for Berry during the evaluation period..which was nearly a year ago, and ranged up to $61.50/share with a median value in the high $40s...which is where it is now.
Maybe that's why Berry hasn't cancelled yet; they are waiting for LNCO to climb to the mid 40's so then they will get what they think they are worth.
Is all this speculation really necessary?
As usual, adding nothing to the board, just an inane comment. Have you ever actually added anything here besides snide remarks or lapdog agreements?
