Joe we had a change in the trading pattern today. A good portion of the late morning and afternoon we traded a tight trading range mostly of 15.78- 15.86. I am sure you noticed this.
My point is that when the trading range tightens that usually seems to be a signal that we are ready to go higher. Along with the fact that we held near the high for the day at the end makes me pretty sure we continue with our uptrend pattern. I sold when it hit 15.92 only to rebuy at 15.90 when I saw it was not dipping.
With Friday only being a half day, and seems like holidays are very low volume I believe we have a nice jump on Friday.
Also unless there is terrible news come out tomorrow I think the market in general will be decent also on Friday so we don't have to worry about a crppy day to kill our uptrend.
I have been playing the range not the best but making a little extra everyday lately, hopefully that also continues.

    March to 16 today?

I also have confidence that if people set tight stops this afternoon, the computers will take advantage and drive it down. Then I buy more. I got tired of complaining about the computers and have decided to play there crp and make some extra money. We cant beat them so I am using them.

    March to 16 today?

We still have 2.5 hours of trading left, BUT the market has given up half or more than half of its upside.
It can turn around or give up more. Its hard to say. Even if we close below 16 today we will be back there on Monday.
The money is at 16 today for options and I have all the confidence in the world that the computers drive it down and out of the money.
As I stated else where this is exactly why I don't trade options- I don't trust the computers.
I also am confident we keep going up..

That is the exact reason why I don't play options. The computers have proven here how they control the market. Look at today, that run over 16 surprised me, and the market is pulling back and we are still holding over 16. I have seen this more than once where KERX holds nice and then BAM down it goes.
I was so convinced that we would not go above 16 I sold at 15.90 and am waiting for the computers to start taking out the stops and drive it lower. They have already drove it down once, I am waiting for the big drop, to buy back in.
As I said in another post, I still believe we are in an uptrend, and we are going to up to hopefully challenge the 18.48 high in a couple of weeks.
Launch is in a few weeks and hopefully some upgrades are coming to get this going.

This is going to be very interesting on whether it can end above16. It broke through for about 10 mins, but I am having very serious doubts on it holding above. They are taking it below 16 again as I write this.
I still believe we are in an uptrend and we look good for the next week or 2.
I may be a little negative towards ending above 16 today but very positive about the next couple of weeks.

You may be right, BUT it is looking like it is finally in an uptrend. We will know more tomorrow. Starting to doubt whether we break 16 tomorrow, but it looks very good for next week. We may very well go to 18 before pulling back to your high 14, and that's if we dip that low again. Another round of crppy market could cause it, but I remember back in Feb. when the market sucked. I had sold in preparation for a dip that did not happen. I watched it go up before it finally dipped back to my buying point. I missed out making money with my negative thoughts.
This could easily go to 18 in the next week or so, before pulling back again.
Also, as we get closer to the launch, that may be the catalyst to keep it going higher.
We don't know how this going to act after launch.

    50 cent day

    by davecarmen48 Nov 20, 2014 10:04 AM
    rls787 rls787 Nov 20, 2014 3:24 PM Flag

Starting to have real doubts about hitting 16 tomorrow. I am going to hold long tonight and buy extra tomorrow to day trade, BUT with 15.67 being a very stubborn resistance I now cant help but wonder if we can get to 16 tomorrow.
If not it is very reassuring to see it holding and not dropping like a rock late in day.
If we have a really tight trading range tomorrow, and we don't break to 16 I feel we get going next week, Because this was a nice uptrend today.
If Options hurt us tomorrow and keep us at 15, then I do feel good about next week.
Remember there have been times when the market stinks and we still go up. If the market should stink next week we may not be affected by it.

Holding around 50 cents. It keeps trying to break to break 15.68 but is finding real resistance there.
The key is we are holding. We finally have a break in the trading pattern, and so far it is in an uptrend.
If we get higher today and hold I feel there is a great chance of breaking 16 tomorrow. We will see, hopefully we go back to 18 in next week or 2.
In two weeks we should be at or very close to launch, and hopefully at that point we have lift off of the stock.

I have been in those same shoes, and missed the run, because I was either too cautious or having negative thoughts, believing it would pull back more.
This afternoon will dictate what this does. So far we are in an uptrend pattern but that doesn't mean a whole lot lately.
If we do hit 15.90-15.95, my finger will be on the trigger to sell.
If we break 16 off we go. We will know in a few hours.

Options are pointing to stay at 15 or go up to 16 or 17.
At this point I am guessing going to 16 or 17.
BUT if I am wrong 15.02 was support yesterday and again this morning.
I was traveling home from work and missed the open. I got home and it was 15.12 and as I stated above I hesitated with my cautious or negative thoughts. I am now sure it will at least hold 15 if not go higher.
A crppy market could pull it down but 14.80 was a strong support level prior.
My guess is we go to mid to upper 15's even if we don't go higher, but I am thinking higher.
    Just my guess

I was also waiting for it to drop below 15. It is not going to happen. My negative thoughts cost me a little I should have bought at 15.12 but I waited a little while to make sure it wasn't going to drop. It cost me a little profit but now I am pretty sure we are not going to break 15.
So far we are still up nice from the 15.30 I did buy at.
That's the problem with either negative thoughts are being a little too cautious in this crazy market.
Up is still up and good.

I am glad I was at work and decided to take the trading day off.
Yesterday I played the computers crp and I sold at 15.89. I hesitated late in the day and never rebought, deciding to wait and see what today would look like.
After you warned me about the FED mins I just watched it occasionally and never touched it. I am even more money ahead now when it decides to go back up.
Options still seem to be pointing up, but who knows, especially with the way the market acting. Tomorrow, and Friday I am off and can watch it. I would assume rebuying at some point, if nothing else play the volatility.
Hope we go up tomorrow and I buy back in but who knows right now.

Thanks for the warning, I am at work today and cant keep a close eye on things, so I may not even trade today. Some days its better not to trade if the risk is greater than the chance for a gain.

15.20's or 30's up to 15.90 and then back down to who knows what.
Sooner or later we break 16 and off to 17,18 we go.

Joe today I played the computers crp. I sold at 15.89 and kept my profit. I almost rebought at 15.40 but hesitated, because I thought it was going lower, and then it was gone. I then decided to wait until tomorrow morning to buy back in. The market lost close to half of its gains in the last 30 mins of trading, so I would not be surprised if futures are crppy at the open, and it drops back to 15.20's or 15.30's.

Today I played there #$%$rp, and sold at 15.89. I agree with you on both parts. Ron did a good job, especially covering the warning label about the iron. He just always has some uh's and umm's.
I thought it went well. Some nervous people must have come in and set tight stops in the middle of the presentation. That's when it pulled back. They lost there shares and now its taking off.

A BIG market correction is coming, so you make an excellent point that a BO should be soon.
One big catalyst for a BIG correction would be if we do have a terrorist attack here next year or even over the holidays. ISIS/ISIL has stated that they will attack here so believe them that they will at some point. How ever which way they choose to do something, sooner or later it will happen. The computers will sink the market so fast it will make peoples heads spin.
Sorry for gloom and doom but I am a firefighter/paramedic hazmat tech that lives in the south suburbs of Chicago so this is on my mind a lot.
