Shorts will try and drop this in AH

    by josephanastasiw May 22, 2014 5:08 PM

I would not call this fun, but you are right that shorts will make it look worse than it is.
A ebbbr says the price is baked in already after they killed it before so hopefully we hold here tomorrow, and can slowly move up next week-I hope.
This explains why we have not shot up these last few days. If we had shot up we would be getting killed again right now- that's the only bright side to this.

You have good confirmation us this from a reliable source???
With the large % increase in ownership from companies hopefully this is true.
As was stated last week if Ron was told to fix little things then this was no big deal.
Hopefully those options at 12 hopefully 15 by weeks end.expire worthless and we go to 14 or 15 by weeks end.

It looks like it is in an uptrend, and I also think higher, but I am holding- hoping for 14. I have no options so I just want it to go higher.
A lot of 12's were bought the other day-oops.

Yes I owned Arna too, but I did not sell right away after the run up I know I made something but would have been more on a quick sale.
Since we know that after every run up there is a pull back, definitely take the money and run, BUT my plan was to rebuy even more shares after the pull back and wait, and may be play the volatility. so many rounds of good news coming means quite a few runs up followed by the pull backs. To play it will make some money, but with that comes more of this frustration.
Buy out avoids the frustration as you said to go else where, but I still think that riding this out a year or more will actually make a lot more money.

We are quite heavy in the 15's. I am hoping for that but who knows.
Some positive news comes out and we might go up into the announcement higher than 15's, but again who knows.
We WERE looking good until the other day.
I also agree with you that a few week delay will cause a small pull back, but an uncertain delay with unknowns and who knows what the bsterds will do to it.

Thanks for the update. When you look at all this I cant believe we are not higher-its pathetic.
I know some people want the buy out for a quick profit, and the way this is being treated I would take the money and run myself, BUT in the long run we should go much higher without the buy out.
If we can just get rid of the negative crp and the high short ownership we would be in a much better position
    down the road.

you are 100% right. This is all a game to drive the price down - which there were successful at #$%$ up the shares, and now watch it run.
Again I would be happy if we were back at 17 were it should be if not even higher before approval. Unfortunately with this game they played Big Jeff is looking right we will probably only go to 20. Hopefully run higher than that before the pull back but who knows now.
My wet dream was to start the run at 17 go up 8-10 to 25-27, and then pull back to low 20's, again wet dream
We are still going up after approval, we all know that, but I am wondering how high do we go before a pull back. Not being negative, just trying not to have another wet dream.

May be they bought yesterday or this morning during the slaughter, or as someone else said they added to the position. Its just too bad this news did not come a few hours ago and take us back over 13 today.
Hate to sound like I am crying, I will take the run up on Monday, may be some more good news coming.
If shorts didn't cover here they are now saying crp- too bad for them - good for us.

Thanks for sharing the BS side of wall street which keeps getting worse.
Originally my plan was to buy every share I could on margin just before the announcement waiting for the big pop.
I am sure I was not the only one thinking of doing that. Your examples are prime reason why NOT to do that, counting on chickens before the eggs are are hatched is potentially dangerous. I am not just going to hold what I have and go with it. I do hope this goes in June I have some bills I was counting on paying off next month after the pop.
Now who knows if that pop will happen on June 6 or June 9., or later in the month. So if you were thinking like me on buying extra on margin, I am now not doing it and playing it safe just holding onto what I have.
    Thanks for your examples.

All though some people did sell right away, and if they did they loaded up a short time later with more shares at a cheaper price. But I totally agree with you that it was the hedge funds that killed it and drove it down. In a few days it will slowly come back up. As Joe says we are still heavy at options between 14 and 15.
This still scks and my confidence in this stock has been shaken, so if Ron was playing some kind of a game here as was stated else where, letting the price get run down to shake out the shorts. If that was his intention I think he put doubt into several of us longs.
The biggest thing I learned is NEVER expect something good to come out of earnings.
I was going to load up and buy every share I could on margin at the beginning of June but not now.
IO am going to play it and ride this into June and not hold any margin just in case we get bit again.
Due to the drop I am in a small margin call today as many others but a run back into 13's will cover that. Hopefully in a few days we will be back in 13's.

You make good points that they are probably small issue-issues that they can resolve, so it just makes this type of day suck.
Also as MGM said in another post, the announcement 2 days ago of the Boston Office gave us all great hope that things looked great and ready to go.
If there were any problems wouldn't they have known the other day, and not made the Office announcement.
One thing is for sure I have definitely lost some faith in this company and will be reevaluating my position here after FDA approval which still should be in a few weeks, but don't look for anything earlier. We have many good things to look forward to but again this is ridiculous.

I know you are right, but your talk last week about how we are so heavily shorted has me concerned.
The stocks I left to come here 7 or 8 months ago are up nicely, and we are not doing crp. I know we are higher in a month so its not panic time, BUT this is very discouraging and you now have me wondering whether to stay here after FDA approval, because unless the shorts get out here and let it run this ridiculous volatility may never end.

This last time I did sell at 17 and rebought at 14.20. I have been here 7 or 8 months and basically even at this point or possibly down a small amt. What #$%$ me off is the stocks I left are up nicely while this MUTTS along. Getting tired of it.
At this point the only way I see to make money here is to day trade, but I have been under 25k for awhile keeping from day trading and now I am down even more.

Shorts win-longs loose again. I am getting tired of this sht.
If you are new here remember it WILL bounce back. This is just disgusting right now.
Hopefully the slaughter will be done at the open or just after. Buy more if you have the money-I don't.
We only have a few more weeks, but my original WET DREAM of going mid 20's after FDA approval is now looking dismal.
Is anyone else thinking of bailing after approval, because this will continue for a long time as long as we are so heavily shorted. Big Jeff is absolutely right he said that a week ago.

I thought we would have already been back up to 17 and then be on our next mild pull back down by now, before next month. This is pathetic, and its not just the xbi and ibb. When the powers to be decide its time to go up it will. Remember it has gone up on bad days, but the but holes wont let it run. Patience waiting till next month sucks, I was hoping to make some money this month, but at this point day trading is the only way and I am about to start doing that again.
