I'm glad you said something about it because I thought it was just me; that I wasn't wise enough to understand those "deep meanings" . This whole thing reminds me of one of Peter Seller's hilarious movies (called Being There) where he plays the part of a simple minded gardner who as a pedestrian gets scraped lightly by a limo that's parking, and the wealthy owner takes him in. But instead of realizing that Sellers is mentally #$%$ he attributes deep investment-related meanings to his gibberish. I think Peter Sellers may have come back as Biglefthook_00.
Thinking that today's move has to do with the the hold being lifted is not facing reality. It is pretty obvious that the move encompasses the whole sector because of the megadeals going on. But it's really hard to imagine gern being sought after. My opinion is that this is only a bounce.
As I've said before, all this bickering is annoying. The mb should be for informative posts that affect INCY. While the paid bashers are earning something with their silly posts, responding to them just encourages more of it. Am I alone in that opinion?
You are right about that but what weighs on me more is the other side of the coin because at this sp level the risk-reward is really magnified. Even mediocre news would be bad. But as you said if they can deliver the payoff will be handsome indeed. glta
Hopefully down the road. It would be a relief for the decision to be made for me of when to cash in. Right now it's a dilemma. But being realistic I don't see that as a real possibility until INCY becomes a more solid profitable company. But what do I know. I ALMOST sold many, many times during this journey. Being indecisive has worked to my benefit.....so far.
Respectfully, you and maddi re the worst offenders by even referencing those posts. Ignore should mean really ignoring as though it didn't happen. Thanks
You have my attention but can you explain what you base this on. On 23 Sept you mentioned a hammer formation and you were right on that time.
Traders who have a knack for timing can be doing very well here with these swings. But I learned long ago that I'm not in that category so now I just do it the old fashioned way ..... holding long term.
On 23 Sept you really "nailed it' with your bullish comment about a hammer formation. So i would be interested in what your interpretation is of the current pattern. Do you see anything significant that you would care to share?
My wife is on Orencia for her RA and because it is infused, Medicare pays 100% and her part D RX coverage is not involved. And while an oral med such as Baricitinib would be more convenient I am wondering if Medicare would cover the whole cost or if her part D coverage would come into play in which case she would have to pay a substantial part of the cost. That would certainly influence whether she would use it or stay with the infused med.
What seems obvious to me, yet no one is discussing it, is that the reason for the new accounting system is that the company's projected sales are flat and with this new system they would appear better. But the scary thing is that projected sales don't seem too good even with the new system. That's why a lot of stockholders are exiting.
