Hanna, what puzzles me is who is doing all of the buying. This could also be related to Tang IMHO......GL
gsw, why would RXI continue the rx109 trials if they were not producing positive results? To spend lots of money for nothing, hastening their own demise? No, It would be far more prudent to stop the trials in their tracks to conserve resources for other drug candidates rather than depleting resources on a failure..........GL
Don't think retail longs buying to any degree. They will ride out this free fall IMO. Volume does not go from an average of 200K to $1-2m from retail. More big players buying I think, based on volume. GL
Sorry swat, my crystal ball is in the shop for repairs. I would wait for now. See when the bleeding stops and we see a turn. Wait for now, my best advice...............GL
Hard to guess what Geert may have to say. My thought is that he has something of importance to relay as CC's have never been on their agenda. Would Geert come out with further disappointment for shareholders after the beating most have taken?
At an M/cap of $16m, the two p2 drugs, and the rest of their IP, I look at it this way; If I did not own RXI would I buy it now?...................GLTA
How can we ever thank you sabid, I didn't know after all this time that you were merelyoffering your precious time on this message board in attempt to save some poor souls from losing their hard earned money.
Sabaid; the great humanitarian.................
Your opinions are always welcome sabaid. My question to you as a past investor in RXI, is " Why hang around the message board o a stock that you neither own or like?
Nothing better to do? Or attempting to harass because you lost money on the stock?
Very curious to hear your answer. I know I would have moved on If I were you, yet you remain..........................GL
bio, Tang was a necessary evil. RXi did not have the luxury of VC funding as a start up. The spin off left them at the mercy of a Mr. Tang. Not that it;s the end of the world, Good science will pull them right through Tang. On the other hand it makes financing, partnerships, or even a buyout somewhat more cumbersome..........Perhaps we'll be updated on this subject next week..............GL
I agree lotta. There remains an unknown upside to RXI based upon two mid stage P2 trials, an opthal IND due in mid 2015 for eye scarring, Samcyprone, which will very likely be in p3 shortly, a vast body of IP, 34 patents, 34 pending, no debt, some cash, but a somewhat toxic (for the time being0 Mr Tang.
On the other hand ( as for the down side) I believe the scrap value alone for RXI far exceeds the current market cap of $16m. RXI severely undervalued now IMO.
Yes, This is a buying opportunity IMO. But not for those who cannot stomach the volatility and wild price fluctuations of a young biotech.
ps; nevermind posters like smokey and sabaid, they are not even invested here, but come around to tell you that (quote smokey), "you are out of your mind" It makes them feel important.............GL
I can appreciate the sentiment, although I don't expect a final blow here. Hard to think that Geert would schedule a CC for the purpose of delivering further disappointment to his shareholders. I could be mistaken but I suspect he may have something quite the opposite to relay..................GLTA
And yet you keep following the company. Why sabaid? Still like it? Or just still angry? I'm sure it's one or the other................GL
If the company thought it could not advance.........GLTA
They would not have advised to expand the trials,(very costly and time consuming) without telling results,IMO. We'll see............GLTA
My post upset you hedge. You appear angry. My its interesting the times you show up. I exposed you log ago for the thieving hedge fund lackey that you are...Not an admirable profession hedge, BTW, your not even very good at it, HA.
