Why would any of the executives with Hero agree to a buy out ? They purchased shares at a much higher price than they would ever get in a buy out. I can't see them taking huge losses and selling the company.

Yes, and then they have and appeal process to lengthen it out further. I'm confident we will be back above $1.00 before that happens.

SDRL or MAERSK to acquire HERO ?

A number of top brass at Herules bought shares at or above $5.00 so if Hercules was acquired for less than $5.00 management would take a loss on the sale. They would be foolish and I can't see that happening, so I believe all shareholders would at least get a minimun of $5.00 or Hercules will not except the offer.

As dictator the Obama master plan is to redistribute the wealth. Steal from the corporations and the wealthy individuals and give it to the third world countries. Remember Obama hates America and espeically white folks and his goal is our total destruction, so Obama is awake and this is deliberate.

You nailed it. Key words....... Immediately & Operations, also on their web site they have numerous positions to hire in the North Sea. You would never hire for all the positions and then tell them "I'm sorry we didn't get the contract so you are fired. Sounds like Hero is getting everything lined up and ready to drill.

Record Gasoline Output Will Curb the Biggest U.S. Oil Glut in 85 Years
    By Dan Murtaugh
    April 5, 2015 7:01 PM
Refiners are poised to make gasoline at a record pace this year, keeping the biggest U.S. crude glut in more than 80 years from overflowing storage
They’re enjoying the best margins in two years as they finish seasonal maintenance of their plants before the summer driving season. They’ll increase output to meet consumer demand and they’ve added more than 100,000 barrels a day of capacity since last summer, when they processed the most oil on record.

With gasoline prices down and more affordable I believe we will see more people traveling and taking more vacation trips. Supply & Demand folks. The consumption wil drive the price of oil back up.

The Congress shall have Power To ...declare War....ARTICLE I, SECTION 8, CLAUSE 11 The United States went to war in Iraq because both Democrats & Republicans in the congress voted and approved the war. Bush asked Congress to approve the war because he did not have the authority. So when you start placing blame you need to include all the body of congress not one. Do your research, there was a hell of a lot of Democrats who voted for the war on what you call phoney intel.

Warm weather is on the way and motorist will hit the road, reducing supplies and pushing oil prices up.

The recent drop in gas prices encouraged Americans to get out on the roads at near-record levels in 2014, with motorists traveling 3.02 trillion miles, 1.7 percent more than the 2.97 trillion driven in 2013.

The result was the second-highest total ever recorded in the 69 years the data has been tracked, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation, behind only the 3.03 trillion miles posted in 2007.

While low gas prices means it's easier on the bank account to get out and about, there is a downside to so many folks being on the roads.

"Americans are driving their cars at near-record levels, and being stuck in traffic is costing drivers an average of nearly five days a year," said Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx in a press release.

As the price of gas began to fall last August, the miles began ramping up, culminating in 251.4 billion miles in December, a 5 percent jump and the highest December total ever. The move to get behind the wheel was widespread, with every state recording traffic increases in December.

Indiana motorists recorded the biggest increase at 10.5 percent, followed by Oklahoma at 9.3 percent, Montana at 8 percent and Michigan at 7.9 percent. In fact, motorists in that region, which the Transportation Department calls North Central, drove more miles in December than any other region at 55.4 billion miles: an increase of 6.3 percent.

And If Hero survives this downturn, and some other drillers do not and go bust, that just leaves more drilling contracts for Hero when things improve. I believe the 209 million dollars cash on hand will hold them over. The main key is to see how much cash has been burned with this report in April. It cost a lot of money to cold stack rigs, but once they are out of service, the cost drops.

It appears that the tone of the Saudi oil minister has changed. Oil revenue supports about 90% of the Saudi government and it's people and I believe they are now hurting.

I am hearing a change in what they are saying.I would suspect they are feeling some pain and they are seeing a longer time horizon than they originally thought. They are fishing for others to join them in a production cut. By June they will be cutting. IMHO

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
