down, down, down... it amazes me that a company like this which is the leader in its industry, no debt, lots of cash, 2014 earnings all set with plenty of time to add new contracts for 2015 is hitting new lows while other high flyer stocks that have no earnings are worth billions upon billions in overinflated value. i'm in this one for the long run and have been buying chunks of LQDT from the mid 20's on down...

  • Three-Year Contract Extension Expands Relationship, Enabling Development and Commercialization of More Innovative Products

SAN JOSE, Calif. and AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 11, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Intermolecular, Inc. (IMI) and Guardian Industries announced today the expansion and extension of their collaborative development program and strategic IP licensing agreement. Guardian, one of the world's largest manufacturers of coated glass for architectural, automotive, and other applications, has been working with Intermolecular since 2010 on the development of innovative coated glass products targeting a variety of end applications.

The contract extension announced today provides for an immediate increase in resources to be deployed at Intermolecular by both companies. The parties expect to be able to significantly increase the number of new products that will be developed and commercialized resulting from the collaboration through 2017.

"Guardian is committed to growth through product innovation through external partnerships. I believe that having about 25% of our innovation portfolio getting nutrition from diversified industries creates a lot of value. This requires high level crosspollination and Intermolecular is the perfect partner for this," said Martin Bracamonte, vice president, Science and Technology, Guardian Industries Corp. "We are continuously striving to introduce value-added products to our customers through the integration of our high quality glass with advanced coatings. Intermolecular's team and proprietary methods are an important part of Guardian's pursuit of technological leadership in the flat glass industry."

This thing has been in a free-fall since March of 2013. When will it end? Earnings report next week should provide some color.

  • Volume today was: 1,000,694 shares and the stock was slightly down. The last time we had volume of over 1,000,000 shares was on Dec 16, 2011 a few weeks after the IPO. Seems a bit odd.

Those are all "Automatic Sales" and very common for officers of any company on an automatic plan. The last "Manual Sale" transaction was back in Jun 2012. Granted, it would be great to see management step up at these all-time-low levels and buy some stock back.

  • With the stock now trading at less than half it's IPO price, a good amt of cash & little debt, and the entire Market Cap at only 200M, it seems ripe for a buyout. A company could add them to their R&D dept and gain a huge advantage over its competitors. Thoughts?

  • Nevsun Resources announces commercial production on Bisha copper expansion; site is on track to meet guidance of 30 to 50 mln pounds of copper production in 2013: Co announced that the Bisha Mine in Eritrea has reached commercial production for the copper expansion with the successful commissioning of its flotation plant. Since commissioning commenced in early Q3, the operation has produced approximately 60,000 tonnes of copper concentrate and is on track to meet guidance of 30 to 50 million pounds of copper production in 2013. In the past month the plant has been achieving over 80% of its targeted metrics of feed grade, recovery rates, and copper produced in concentrate. The transportation logistics from site to Massawa port are working well and Bisha has made three ocean shipments totalling ~ $60 million in value, with another ship loading this week in Massawa.

  • While much of the nascent civilian unmanned aircraft industry looks at ways to optimize small unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for specific tasks such facility security, infrastructure inspection, or precision agriculture, a New Mexico-based aerospace startup is thinking bigger and longer-term.

Titan Aerospace, a one-year-old venture-backed aircraft designer, last week unveiled its Solara 50 and Solara 60 unmanned aircraft. These are two massive solar-powered, high-altitude vehicles the company plans to send aloft for weeks, months, and eventually years at a time without ever having to land.

Titan doesn't refer to these concept aircraft as "drones" or by the industry-preferred "unmanned aerial system," but instead calls them "atmospheric satellites" for their ability to remain aloft for extended periods of time just as orbital satellites do. The company hopes to provide a sub-$2 million platform that governments, private industry, and research institutions can put high into the atmosphere for extended periods of time for a fraction of the cost of a space satellite.

The idea is that an atmospheric satellite can conduct most of the same operations as an orbital one: atmospheric observation and weather monitoring, communications relay, oceanographic research, and earth imaging. Other operations are impractical for space satellites, such as border security, maritime traffic monitoring and anti-piracy operations, disaster response, or agricultural observation. And with continuous flight time of up to five years, Solara's aircraft would have endurance on par with many small satellites, making them a more attractive option for a range of these applications (not to mention that if a sensor or instrument goes down, you can land and relaunch).

I guess it only tracks gold on down days. When gold is up, it goes down too. NSU is the only miner that is down on my entire list. #$%$? Gold, silver and copper are all up again. Volume is light so it looks like people are just ignoring the stock even though it presents a tremendous value at these levels.
