thanks spengler. I would not do this move lightly, however when I can buy a stock with the assets protecting my initial capital it just makes sense. This clearly is a once in a lifetime opportunity that started to be created in the early 1900's when sears was buying up American real estate. On the books for 5 billion worth morth of 18 (with 4 billion in liability) one just cant go wrong. If the retail does not work out we still double easy from here. And the Macerich deal proves it. If you look at where Macerich owns in A space sears stands right behind them. And if you think eddie is going to continue to lose millions to dilute 18 billion its rediculous (with 50% of his networth in it). Also we are curbing the loses as we speak. Year end 2015 will really show the true picture. at 40ish its a steal.
