sleep What or Which GOP party do you mean? The old GOP is gone. They are eating their own in their primaries if not right wing enough. The eco conservatives and moderate GOP are RHINO's to the right wing GOP. They do have a common enemy in Demo's and that is the only thing in common the GOP factions have.
That will hurt turnout some I believe as you do but how much remains to be seen. If DT does not stop being DT which so far he has not then I see 45-47% of vote as about as good as the GOP will do.

A lot of old time eco GOP types may indeed vote for HC as she does get alone well with the walstreet boys and bankers were DT is a big scary unknown. Long way from Nov however.

scs glad you can see it is jobs that bring illegals into the USA. Now think real hard if jobs brings illegals then no jobs does not bring illegals? Make it a serious offense to hire illegals and you will not need to spend billions on a wall that will not stop the problem.

You said the KEY. Jobs brings illegals. Stop Jobs stop illegals. Why is that so hard for you Wall freaks to understand? You guys want to punish people for wanting a better life fine but the only way you can do that is by doing away with the job market and the only way to do that is to put American business owners and American Corps in the cross hairs. It seems you guys do not mind illegal being hired to work but only the fact that they just do not only work. They pay property taxes on where they rent or live, they pay sales taxes, some of them pay into SS and Medicare and get nothing out of it. Some of them have income taxes withheld so not only do they work they also pay taxes while those that hire them under pay them and keep them in sub human camps (some employees not most) and some employers withhold income taxes and SS from their checks and keep the money and others do not even both with either one.

Why do you want to protect those that hire and go after those that work? How long will you hide behind the title of illegal to justify the real villains here? It is the employers who are creating the illegal job market not those crossing the border. At least go after both. If you would start to arrest or fine (heavy fines) employers you see a big drop off in the number of illegals. You would also have huge holes in people able to do certain skilled and unskilled in America but you can not have it both ways. Either you train Americans to do the jobs and stop hiring illegals or you pretend you are doing something and care about a problem when you really do not. Just another class of people to make the enemy.

  • Read it and weep you conservative folks.

:n 2012, voters in California approved a measure to raise taxes on millionaires, bringing their top state income tax rate to 13.3 percent, the highest in the nation. Conservative economists predicted calamity, or at least a big slowdown in growth. Also that year, the governor of Kansas signed a series of changes to the state's tax code, including reducing income and sales tax rates. Conservative economists predicted a boom.

Neither of those predictions came true. Not right away -- California grew just fine in the year the tax hikes took effect -- and especially not in the medium term, as new economic data showed this week.

Now, correlation does not, as they say, equal causation, and two examples are but a small sample. But the divergent experiences of California and Kansas run counter to a popular view, particularly among conservative economists, that tax cuts tend to supercharge growth and tax increases chill it.

California's economy grew by 4.1 percent in 2015, according to new numbers from the Bureau of Economic Analysis, tying it with Oregon for the fastest state growth of the year. That was up from 3.1 percent growth for the Golden State in 2014, which was near the top of the national pack.

The Kansas economy, on the other hand, grew 0.2 percent in 2015. That's down from 1.2 percent in 2014, and below neighboring states such as Nebraska (2.1 percent) and Missouri (1.2 percent). Kansas ended the year with two consecutive quarters of negative growth -- a shrinking economy. By a common definition of the term, the state entered 2016 in recession.

The ka. tax cuts on income and raising sales taxes put higher taxes on lower income and middle income people and gave the rich a big tax cut. What else from the GOP can we expect?

Now go name call the facts which of course you conservatives do not believe when they are different from what you want but Ka goes down while Neb and Mi do just fine & Cal great.

diggler the commie lover is it. Wow the right would now rather be a commie lover than HC that is rich.

I guess we see another side of a DT white male voter. Any white male over HC is it now or maybe you just support other loud mouth blow hearts?

Care to tell us all how your new hero Putin will save us? And just who is the us he is saving us from? Who is the enemy of you and Putin?

I guess you and DT think alike since DT was praising and sucking up to Putin as well. HEY MAYBE THE GOP could write in PUTIN. He could be president of both Russia and the US.

I wonder if he would raise the min wage being a commie and all and NHC what would PUTIN be on that issue? SS? Global Warming? Gun Control? ABortion?
lets see Russia tore down the wall so you think Putin would build one here?

Just what do you think you and Putin have in common other than sex and race?

why you still using the name diggler instead of your other name? Just look like two idiots instead of one.

joeri I will not give you a tumbs down for telling the truth. Nat will not pay out .43 dividend next quarter. They may pay out .30 as they have been paying out of free cash flow last quarter and may continue but as it now stands this quarter rates on suez will not support even a .30 cent pay out. If you want to buy a stock that pays out 8-9% next dividend then buy SFL that is what you get is my guess.

Rates are down across the board and SFL owns a chunk of FRO which is DOWN big time from before x date dividend and SFL got .40 cents a share dividend from them but that will not happen next quarter either. FRO may be selling too cheap and SFL to high but the truth is rates suck right now for both. SFL has those drilling rigs which have a huge debt and not much demand given the price of oil. I do not think SFL will go BK but could see the dividend end up a lot less than the .30 cents I see for them.

We cant even get daily tanker rates in more as Intertanko has stopped putting them out.
Risky. No tumbs up from me and I hold SFL LT so call me not happy.

nikk funny how us crazy and what ever else names those on the right love to call we can find sites that show facts as we both found the Skeptical Liberitarian which refuted suggp false numbers which he merely accepted as truth since they fit what he wanted to see.

Sorry I published all that stuff as I did not see your post until now.

The numbers even in the wrong report show clearly how less gun related crimes England has which was what the Shooting in London post was about. Gun violence.

If the households in the USA voted with their votes they way they do with their wallets on money spent of guns the right wing would not break 40% of the votes. Regardless how passionate gun nuts may be and they are the truth is 60% of Americans (adults) do not even own a gun. Hard to carry what you do not own.
Most gun nuts are like me I guess and own lots of guns. I own more than I can carry and more than I can shot and my ammo gets older ever year as it has now been over 18 years since I fired any type of weapon. It has also been over 18 years since I carried a gun. Yet I am part of the gun owners side of the %. Do I own them for protection? One maybe the others no. Why do I not sell them? MOre bad investments I guess lol.

Two of them are commemorative guns from two law enforcement agencies I worked for. One first gun I bought to carry off duty. Two given to me from Dad and Grandmother. One a James bond favorite gun lol and easiest to carry and hide. One for my wife, light weight, revolver home protection for her. A rifle model 1873 Winchester also given to me by my dad from his dad and a 12 ga. pump shotgun from my brief hunting days. One of me 9 guns nice place for a burger to come to get some more guns to put on the street lol.

If some kind of BIG DEAL happened in the USA which so many are stockpiling food and guns for the only one of those guns that would really protect me would be the shotgun.

Well I hope all on this board knew that the price of the stock would fall after the dividend was paid and it did.

Mr. F again found a way to harm his own company with his buying spree while rates were down. Rates remain down BTW. FRO today of 7.82 cents with the adjusted .40 dividend that means 7.42 which is very close to the year low 7.40 cents. But fair is fair the .40 cents and the 7.82 going the other way gives you a value of 8.22 Now do we have a low or maybe not? I will go out on a limb and say if you got it for that 7.82 number I think you will be ok at some time during the next 3 months hey you can sell now and make money lol. To those who had automatic buys below 8 you are back in below 7.75 you missed it but will you get another chance?

It is harder to get rate info now that Intertanko has stopped helping us but from what I can tell from Weber rates are still down in all type boats but suez doing a little better. Good news is even with the lower rates FRO will make money but not enough to pay out .40 maybe .30 but with Mr. F buying ships and running up quarterly payments he will need more cash flow to pay for them and I would not look for much more than .25-30 cents if that much. Rates need to make a big run up to go above those low figures.

At .25 cents and 8 buck stock buy that is still 12.5% on your money not bad but who knows what Mr. F will think of next to kill the price. The man has shown an art form at killing his own company stock price so I have stopped underestimating his abilities.

The daily mail put out that story and a guy who is a big supporter of libertarian causes Ben Swan merely repeated them on his show. The Real Facts are a lot different as this article points out the reason why.

"First, it should be noted that the figures Swann gives are out of date: in 2010, according to the FBI, the reported rate of violent crime in the US was 403 incidents per 100,000 people–the 466 figure comes from 2007. Second, and more importantly, the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports defines a “violent crime” as one of four specific offenses: murder and nonnegligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault."

"The British Home Office, by contrast, has a substantially different definition of violent crime. The British definition includes all “crimes against the person,” including simple assaults, all robberies, and all “sexual offenses,” as opposed to the FBI, which only counts aggravated assaults and “forcible rapes.”

Big difference in how the Brit's and the FBI count Violent Crime now isn't there? Any assult is a violent crime in England a bar fight, all they arrest in those football game riots, Maybe the Brits way of looking at crime is better than ours but for Stats use the playing field is not even close to level and both the daily mail and the guy who merely copied their info which to be fair is how the Brits would see it as well fail to mention this HUGE differnce in what is and what is not a violent crime.

"And it’s also worth noting that while Swann implied that the UK is more violent than the US because of its handgun ban, violent crime has been declining in Britain since the mid-1990s, and it continued to do so without interruption after the 1997 Firearms Amendment went into effect. Meanwhile, in the United States, gun ownership has been falling steadily, even as the US experienced the same sharp decline in violence beginning in early ‘90s."

Brainwashing is easy to do just ask suggp he is a victum (willing of course)

oropan can you point out a country that follows your way of thinking and show me how great their eco is? Better than the US eco? If you can (you can not) please show me how the standard of living in that country is compared to the US.
Please show me how work conditions for children are as good as our, or poluation is as low as ours (assuming you like to breath clean air and drink clean water)

Now which Country do you want to put forward to us as your kind of country that proves what you think would work?

Which countries are low or tax haven countries with little or no Gov regs that you would like to pick as your example?

    Be my guest.

scs I would NEVER of hired Timothy Geithner as he was a proven crook because of what you pointed out. To try to put HC use of private email server in the same league as three guys who are in charge of placing billions of dollars for "safe" investment for retirement of state employees with a wall street investment CEO is in your mind I guess a fair comparison which just shows how much you like to hate HC. I certainly am aware of the the basic law on public meetings law in Texas as does most non ignorant Texans and certainly all elected to public office in the state and larger cities are taught about it in detail.

Do you think HC got a briefing on how to handle emails? As a Senator she SHOULD and I THINK did know about the laws about classified information as she is smart and not ignorant. She has said she did wrong by using a private email service. She did what others in her place had done as well as you well know.

The fact is that Powell, Rice and HC by using a private email service were not hacked at all at least as far as anyone knows while the Gov. systems are hacked all the time. Mine have been and I now get 3 years of free ID theif protection from YOUR tax dollars because the Gov systems are old and not as secure as private ones are. My bank, my broker have not been hacked but my Gov records and all those others who had a TOP SECRET clearance have been hacked.

The info HC had in her emails were secure and safe until the GOP committees started releasing them to the public and others for political reason.

The guy twice elected by the people in Fla as Gov proves that people deserve what they get. There is no cure for stupid.
A CEO of a health care company that paid over a billion in fines for fraud it committed while the guy was CEO and he didn't know or do anything to cause the illegal acts?? Yea I believe him lets elect him our Gov because he is GOP and that makes it all good. Guy either stupid or got off free.

oropan Educate yourself and try not to make a total fool out of yourself next time?

" In the United Kingdom, access by the general public to firearms is tightly controlled by law, but it is less restrictive in Northern Ireland. The country has one of the lowest rates of gun homicides in the world.[1] There were 0.05 recorded intentional homicides committed with a firearm per 100,000 inhabitants in the five years to 2011 (15 to 38 people per annum). Gun homicides accounted for 2.4% of all homicides in the year 2011.[2] There is some concern over the availability of illegal firearms.[3][4][5]

Members of the public may own sporting rifles and shotguns, subject to licensing, but handguns were effectively banned after the Dunblane school massacre in 1996. Dunblane was the UK's first and only school shooting. There has been one spree killing since Dunblane, in June 2010.

Police in Great Britain (but not Northern Ireland) are not routinely armed.[6][7][8] Fatal shootings of police are extremely rare; there were three in England and Wales in the eleven-year period from 2000/01 to 2010/11.[9] Armed response units are available to deal with incidents, and around 7,000 police officers have received firearms training.[8][10]

You see the Brits value safety in schools and ended the attacks by going after the tool used to kill kids.
Gee no attacks with hammers, knives, or all the other things the NRA claims would take a guns place now is there. 3 dead unarmed cops in 11 years wow what a dangerous place to be a cop in the whole UK.
2.4 of all murders by guns???? Compare that to the USA rate.

Oropan you really open a can of whip A on yourself when you mention London as a comparision.

The results of the UK law is really too successful to believe either the English are better people than the US folks or respect the law more or FACTS are all Lies by the Liberal media. 3 dead cops in 11 years and they are all unarmed. Yea the UK is dangerous alright lol.

scs Tex is not that different than ka. When the state went into the red back in the crash days before oil saved them they cut billions out of public schools while keeping money in the bank. Now that the oil business is hurting Tx will again be faced with a budget issue if oil does not come back. Ka voters reelected Brownback and Tx voters will reelect the GOP boys even if they shut down half the public schools in the state. To get Texas business tax breaks and give aways which Gov Perry loved you had to give money to the GOP and Perry to get a hand out. Brownback may be wrong and nuts but he is honest in his mistake which is more than I can give our lt. Gov who controls the budget process. The billions of State retirements system is ran by political appointments and that is where the big bucks are to be found. Used to be the railroad commiss but not when you are in charge of placing billions of dollars into the hands of MM boys the under the table money is huge.
I know the guy who headed that up a few years back as I had sold him a sailboat. He turned in ten grand less to the tax office than he paid for the boat to save six hundred dollars. You think he will play it straight on billions? Yea he was caught him and two of his fellow buddies meeting illegally with a Wallstreet firm in violation of the tex open meeting act but nothing ever came of it as it was just a "good old boy meeting". They didn't realize they were breaking any laws was the defense. So hey were stupid don't blame us defense works well in Texas. Its only money who cares.

suggp really that is your answer man you don't have much confidence in your man DT do you?

Let me help you out with a better answer than your lame cowardly one.

We are a long way from the election and a lot can happen. What the big swing against DT that the polls are showing are merely a dot in time in which DT overloaded his rear end with his ever flaping mouth. Instead of looking at the shooter in Fla and directing his blame towards the guy that actually killed all those people DT blamed Obama and HC and Liberals and Demo's. Not only blamed them but did it in such a way that the indies just could not overlook.

Now to far right guys like Suggp and the rest of the pack of nut job right wingers on this board that is no big deal to them. They feel that way about everything so why should not this shooting be any different in blaming the same cast of their hated enemies the Demo's.

But a lot can happen between Now and Then. The American people are very very forgetful and selfish so DT will have a chance to mend some fences the ones in GOP leadership he needs to first mend then thank about actually trying to appeal to voters who are other than foaming at the mouth mad dog right wing nut jobs like suggp who will vote for DT regardless of what the man says and does. DT has done himself the damage this poll reflected all by himself. If he does not stop doing that and kiss up to the GOP leadership and the guys who write the checks then he wil not get but about 42% of the vote come Nov. I think he could take a dump on National news and claim that what he thought of Demo's and he would get 40% of the vote from his like minded clones on the right. Its up to DT alone on how close he wants this race to be. He can shut up and start to show some kind of intelligence or he can remain a mad dog cheer leader. HC health has a lot better chance of opening a door for DT than does any of the so called "Crimes" she has done.
DT well he must shut up or lose.

Tammy and Jim I would say anyone with a brain should of figured them out and yes that leaves out a lot of Christians who believed the dog and pony show and T and J I think believed it themselves. I have been around a lot of Charismatic Christians and sadly some of them get caught up in feelings and emotions and start to believe that they are so special that whatever they do is from God and thus ok to do. T & J most likely believed that God was blessings them with all they had and would give them all they wanted as that is a strong name it and claim part of Charismatic belief's. They just somehow do not see a suffering Savior or a suffering life to love and care for others as much as they a God who wants to take extra special care of them and all like them. That leads to what you say with T&J and a lot of the name it and claim it bunch today. It also leads to the false feeling that "they are speical and loved by God and not like "those" sinners. Which leads to some who want God judgement & punishment to fall on all those who sin "those sins" such as homosexuality. Greed is seen as the working of God blessings on his chosen people. Materialism just the fruit of that blessings and of course Capitalism from God almighty Himself added to the two commandments that Jesus gave.

Agnew? Anyone that Richard Nixon dealt with didn't surprise me as a #$%$ or someone who would do whatever it took to get the desired end wanted. RR while not a #$%$ like Agnew (i do not think anway) would break law after law to get funds illegally to be used for illegal purposes to pursue illegal goals all in the name of Democracy? The guy is worshiped almost as a God today and he was not that much different from Tammy and Jim just had different goals. To him anything that had to be done to fight the commies was OK no matter who got killed or how many or legal or illegal. Maybe that is Presidential who the heck knows.

mlady I have not read anything or saw anything that blamed Trump for what happened in FLa. if you have please share that with us? I see a lot of people disagreeing with DT for statements he has made about what happened in Fla and many of the were leaders within the GOP. You can blame the media or Obama or Demo's but even you must have seen the media is reporting the words spoken by leaders in the GOP about DT comments. I have said that I doubt anything can be done that will stop such attacks that happened in Fla as we simply have too many guns available and even if some sanity such as assault weapon ban being passed it would take years before the number of them being available would go down.

This country has chosen to love guns more than human life unlike Canada and Europe and the facts show the difference that gun laws can make if people decide they are willing to give up their beloved so called rights. American's or a large enough % of them are not willing yet to do that. They ignore the facts which show clearly that gun laws make a difference in ALL deaths by a gun both criminal, accidents and self inflicted deaths all go down. That is not liberal that are facts YOU can look up for yourself but you want your guns so fine pay the butcher bill such as school killings, nigh club killings, church killings, work place killings and where ever else some terrorist or nut job decides to spray the area with their assault weapons.
Do not blame the media for reporting on this cost of gun rights. Do not see it as a liberal lie but at least tell the truth. This is a cost in lives that you are willing to pay to have your gun rights. The facts show the cost is higher than need be but you do not want to look at facts. In the big picture of things gun kill less every year than our beloved for profit hospital care does as over 250,000 a year die while in the "Best care money can buy for profit hospitalis" Pay the blood bill and at least be honest.

  • rogere1946 rogere1946 Jun 15, 2016 3:31 PM Flag

scs both parties say that is what they want to do. There way of doing it is what separates this country and you and I. Let us be honest shall we it was GW Bush VP Mr. Cheney who said deficits don't matter while GW and the GOP were running them up. They had to to fight two wars or raise taxes instead they gave away billions on Medicare with the drug give away to seniors (good or bad) and they gave the biggest tax cuts in history of US while running up those deficits. Have you forgotten that?
Surely you did not support that or did you to get your taxes cut? If so then why should someone on food stamps or min wage vote for a party that will take care of them?

Obama did indeed run up debt. A lot of it was to fight those same two wars and a lot of it was to keep the country out of depression with his stem package. Again you do remember that GW Bush gave away billions to the banks before one American wage earner got a penny.
GW was RIGHT to do that btw he had no choice since the policies that Gram Rudd had opened the flood gates and allowed banks and brokers to almost destroy our eco and some of their own selves as well as they could not check greed. Once the damage was being done even GW saw he had no choice but to stem or save the banks. The FED acted too by upping the insured amount in banks which helped the small business owner more than any give away to banks had done and saved them from having cause a run on the banks like happened in 1929 and the FED saw it coming and acted and avoided that. The OLD GOP and the DEMO both understand that a depression MUST BE AVOIDED at all cost.
What they could not agree on was HOW. The stem the OLD GOP and the DEMO got but taxes was never raised. Correctly at first during the first few years of Obama first term but by 2011 tax raises should of been made at the higher levels and the corp levels as well. It still needs to be done. No way to balance the budget and not hurt the eco without it.

  • rogere1946 rogere1946 Jun 14, 2016 4:45 PM Flag

mlady your much more polite than the other right wingers on this board and that is nice indeed. However your idea and opinions are just that of the right wing of which I am sure you march in step with. We do have a financial problem with our debt but we are in much better position than any other Nation in the world to deal with it since we thanks to Obama getting the stem package through instead of cuts saw the eco recover and dash ahead of Europe who realized too late that they had made a mistake in the cuts they pushed through.
They did raise taxes but the cuts hurt them more. Check it out if you want some real facts about our eco and that of Europe. Trickle down, spending cuts and lower taxes will destroy the US eco and put us into a default and terrible depression. The debt does not have to be paid off with a great hurry only the budget get balanced and then slowly pay down the debt. Most people go for a 30 year debt for a home so doing so for the national debt is a sound way to do it. Your statement about the "least experience in history" reveals your deep right wing devotional and is clearly a joke. History covers a lot of president and none in the last 50 years has done as much damage as GW Bush did with his WMD and two lost wars that cost billions and still costing us money. But again thanks for the none name calling post that was refreshing coming from the right.

Intertanko has decided again to only let members view the rates so unless a member your out.

Here is some info from them :

Sales for scrapping have been meagre so far in 2016, one VLCC, one aframax, six MRs, and two smaller tankers. The newest tanker sold was the VLCC Faridah built in 1995, which was actually an FSO.
