After commercials as bad as those....I thinking Jumping the Shark would be a step-up.
A woman visiting San Diego from Kentucky has her purse stolen. 2 years later the IRS challenges her in Kentucky claiming that she failed to declare the income she earned at the El Pollo Loco in Chula Vista CA. She calls the Chula Vista store and the employee using her name, SS# etc., who had risen to the rank of Asst. Manager has conveniently disappeared. The ID thief was 30 years younger than the Kentucky woman, but Pollo didn't care. The ID thief made great money at El Pollo....lots of overtime....lots of compliments on the quality of her work also. Never opened a credit line and didn't do anything shady other than obtaining gainful employment with the identity theft, always cashed her paycheck at El Pollo's local branch. The IRS just laughed and said it happens all the time. The language spoken at EVERY EP location I have ever visited has been Spanish. It wouldn't surprise me if half the employees are using false documents of some kind.
Every store function seems to be done at the cash register....employee time clock functions, paid-outs, miscellaneous store adjustments. So the customers stand there waiting and waiting while the employees clog the registers with store housekeeping functions. The answer for getting speedy service at El Pollo is ALWAYS USE THE DRIVE-THRU, it gets priority over dining room orders by a magnitude of 10.
All Zillow has to do is really push on the selling agent's commission dollar percentage and they'll be PHENOMINALLY successful. Makes me sick seeing these realtor piranhas sucking the life out of real estate with this 6% mumbo jumbo. With Zillow's power, they could easily push the seller's commission agent down to 1%. Now on the buyer's side, it gets harder...but to stand in front of a house and get a $4K commission is good-enough.
Provides massive support to the horse racing industry. An industry where jockeys lay-the-whip on the animals in the home stretch. Where hundreds of animals are injured and put-down. Where animal cruelty is not the exception, it's the rule. Thanks Disney, I'd rather go the dentist than one of your "amusement" parks.
What I find really amusing is how Horse Racing gets a "pass" from the animal rights groups. In every race I've ever watched, I see that jockeys putting the WHIPS to those Thoroughbreds in home stretches. The horse death tolls are RIDICULOUS. Every season, hundreds of horses are put-down. This is the cruelest inhumane thing you could do to any animal and ABC just ignores it and runs the telecast. I don't see anyone at the tracks protesting, then there's Sea World, where Orca's perform some gentle maneuvers for an adoring crowd and you're all over it....jeesh.
Our loving President drops some huge bunker-buster type bombs on them, which kills not only the Artillery staff, but every extremist within 500 yards of where those positions WERE. And you worry about 50 Orcas, 48 of which were born and raised in captivity....get a grip Maxo.
Cancel your flights out of South Africa. Fly planes there and bring them back empty. Strictly segregate the international crews from the domestic ones.....
Congrats on your Dis-Information attempt...he said the exact opposite...
Washington (AFP) - Ebola's spread to the United States is "inevitable" due to the nature of global airline travel, but any outbreak is not likely to be large, US health authorities said Thursday.
GLOBAL AIR TRAVEL will spread the disease. One guy flying out of Nigeria exposed everyone on the plane....7 people are sick and 5 are dead.
No, they'll be dozens of AAL flight crew in hospital before it takes me down....I pity the Flight Attendants....lots of risk for average paychecks.....
One passenger and the rest are screwed. How did 2 doctors fully dressed in Bio Suits STILL get the virus. This puppy is more virulent than the media is letting on. You Cowboys in Fort Worth better hit the cancel button pronto.
They INSIST on better....Chipotle and Qdoba have proven that hypothesis....
So a plane arrives in New York with 90% of it's passengers dead and sits on the runway. CDC tries to contain The Strain, but fails. "Dead" passengers rise from their dormant state, return to their homes and infect their relatives who spread it around some more. The entire show is a Metaphor for the spread of Ebola. Then go over to TNT and catch some of THE LAST SHIP, where some virulent virus kills off huge swathes of humanity. Swap-out South America for Africa and there is some more Ebola metaphor in that drama.. Hollywood apparently enjoys a good epidemic and the drama that surrounds it. While American Airlines and Delta make money from their overseas flights, the USA is in jeopardy
They could end their in-house breeding program, which would end the captivity, but also deny life to future generations of whales. Releasing the whales they have WOULD NOT WORK. And that was Blackfish's #1 problem, KEIKO.....the star of Free Willy.
After Free Willy, a powerful public campaign was established to return Keiko to the wild. Through the collaboration of environmental groups, the filmmakers and a private benefactor, Keiko was transferred to a huge sea pen in his native waters in Iceland in 1998. There, Keiko was returned to health, adapted to his new environment and taken out on ‘ocean walks’, where he was equipped with a satellite tag to track his movements as he followed a research boat. In July 2002, after some contact with wild orcas, Keiko began a five-week journey, alone, across the Atlantic, eventually arriving in Norway in poor health. Although he never joined a wild orca pod and was lonely and miserable at his death in December 2003, Keiko was a free whale.
