...."In PNG 90 percent of logging companies are owned by the Malayasians in partnerships with PNG politicans who are corrupt and are directors of most of the logging companies, retailing and oil palm industry. Joko Chaundra Soegerto has family members in connection to some of these operations in PNG and in retailing business. Joko Chaundra Soegerto is related through blood family lines and investment in PNG through PAPINDO group of companies and Super Value Stores (SVS) group of company’s diversfying to Real Estate companies and now into rice production through the Minister for Foreign Affairs in Central province. They are now applying for oil and gas industry with mining exploration in Papua New Guinea.
Joko Chaundra Soegerto is the friend of many PNG national government ministers both in the current Oniell/Namah government as well as the faction with the Chief Somare and his son Arthur Somare in the opposition. Meaning most of the parlimentarians go to bed with the Malayasian and some Indonesian Businessman like Joko Chaundra Soegerto with his family members and associates.
All this has happened that has leaded the PNG Government Falcon Jet issue with the Indonesians military jets escorting the governmernt jet to PNG/Indonesian boarder last year. The basic truth is that when the PNG government Jet takes off the International fugutive Joko Chaundra Soegerto’s jet took off at the same time in one of the airport in Indonesia.
Some funds transferred from Malayasian Banks have been off loaded from the International fugutive Joko Chaundra private jet to PNG Government jet in Indonesia where both jets landed for the delivery of cash in suitcases. When the Kumul jets landed at the Jackson air port in PNG most of those suit cases have not been checked by the PNG Customs and Immagration officers. Therefore there are some facts associated in the movement of hard cash by Deputy Prime Minister Belden Namah with his delegation last year to Malayasia.

from Wikipedia:
Tari's cult, which is estimated to have numbered as many as 6,000, became notorious for its alleged use of "flower girls" who serve as concubines and possibly human sacrifices for Tari. The girls dress in scant clothing. The Lutheran Church, very prominent in Papua New Guinea, declared Tari an "enemy of the church".[3]
Tari was pursued by PNG police in 2005 as a result of his teachings, which included promises of material goods and well-being for the villagers' worship. Under recent law, intended to combat the widespread occurrence of cults in the country, it is illegal to make such promises.[1]
The first rape/murder accusation against Tari involves the fate of Rita Herman, who joined the cult at age 13 as a personal "flower girl" of the self-styled messiah. According to accusations, in October 2006, Tari and a select circle of his ex-Lutheran aides, along with Barmarhal Herman, the girl's mother and reported "queen" of the flower girls, took 14-year old Rita into a private tent where she was raped by Tari. Barmarhal instructed her daughter to submit, as she and her family would be blessed by Tari and would receive great gifts of material goods and wealth as reward for the ritual.[4] After the rape, Tari killed the girl with multiple knife stabs. Versions of the story allege that Tari and the other attendees then removed and ate skin from the girl's body and drank her blood. Barmarhal's other daughter had been previously jailed for being one of Tari's flower girls. Barmarhal has denied being present at the event.[5] Remaining members of the family, who have pursued an investigation in Rita's death, have said no signs of cannibalism are on her body.[6]
Tari was initially captured in 2005, but escaped prior to his trial with the help of a Lutheran pastor, Logan Sapus,[3] who had been assigned to counsel him but became converted to Tari's cult instead. Back in the jungle, Tari cultivated an honour guard and recruited a new crop of flower girls from the remote villages, promising them blessings of wealth in exchange. Tari enlisted only virgins, reportedly some as young as 8 years old.[5] Tari ordered the destruction of rival Lutheran churches and terrorized nearby villages who would not submit to him.[1] He is also accused of orchestrating the murders of rival Lutheran ministers.
About 50 of Tari's followers, including about 30 flower girls, were rounded up in an operation in June 2006. Those followers publicly renounced Tari and reconciled with their churches.

A massive manhunt is underway in Papua New Guinea after 49 prisoners escaped from jail yesterday.
PNG Correctional Service's, Richard Mandui, says the break out from Beon Jail in the country's Madang province occurred during a lapse in security while guards were changing shifts.
Mr Mandui says one of the guards on duty in a tower in the maximum security area didn't wait for the next guard to take over his post.
"He left his guard tower," he said.
"While he was on the way the detainees found a gap."
He says they used an unidentified tool to cut through a fence.
Among the escapees is Stephen Tari, also known as Black Jesus, a convicted cultist and rapist.
Police have warned some of the escapees are very dangerous.
Acting Provincial Police Commander for the Madang province, Inspector Jacob Bando, says the police are working around the clock with PNG Correctional Services to apprehend the suspects.

to the Board's criteria, and the Firm was not allowed an opportunity to limit or influence

The inspection team identified what it considered to be audit deficiencies. Those
deficiencies included failures by the Firm to identify or appropriately address errors in

failures by the Firm to perform, or to perform sufficiently, certain necessary audit

Reports surprise Duma
Minister for Petroleum and Energy Mr William Duma has expressed surprise at recent media reports that the Government has approved a 3.8 million tonne LNG project proposed by InterOil Corporation in the Gulf Province.
Minister Duma said that the Government has not given any final approval for InterOil to proceed with a 3.8 million tonne LNG Project. The project is still at Petroleum Retention Licence stage and the Government has only approved further “without prejudice” negotiations between InterOil and the State on a 50/50 proposal by InterOil.
Minister Duma also said that in relation to the 50/50 proposal by InterOil, the National Executive Council (NEC) has given only a conditional approval to a proposal by InterOil to develop its share of 50 % of the available saleable gas with certain conditions, including but not limited to the following:
* The upstream and the midstream must be operated by an internationally recognized and experienced operator(s) satisfactory to the state; and
* Any agreements with InterOil to be conditional on the state executing all agreements necessary to developed its commercialization.
Meanwhile, when Post- Courier contacted InterOil last Thursday, InterOil Corporation Corporate Affairs Manager Kevin Byrne said that the company has always understood that the NEC had only given “conditional approval” to the Gulf LNG Project for the development of the Elk/Antelope resource and understands that until all relevant approvals are obtained, that the 2009 Project Agreement with the State remains in force. The NEC decision was conditional on, interalia, InterOil and the State agreeing on appropriate amendments to the 2009 Project Agreement
Mr Byrne further advised that InterOil fully respects the position of the Minister representing the State of Papua New Guinea and looks forward to continuing, and to successfully concluding, negotiations with the State Negotiating Team.
Minister Duma said NEC has a

Namibia Could Run Dry By August 2014
BY SELMA SHIPANGA, 8 MARCH 2013
THE City of Windhoek, together with NamWater, yesterday cautioned water users in central Namibia, and Windhoek in particular, to start using water sparingly as the wells supplying water to these areas are running dry because of a lack of rain this year.
The City of Windhoek says this year's rainy season is the worst since 1996, which marked the end of the last drought experienced in central Namibia.
The manager of corporate communications at the City of Windhoek, Joshua Amukugo, says the three dams serving central Namibia have received no inflow this rainy season.
"Dam levels are substantially lower than at the same time last year and total water in storage in the three central area dams as on February 25 2013 was 54% compared to the 91% on February 27 2012. The three central area dams are hence 37% lower than last year," said Amukugo.
The three central dams are the Von Bach Dam, the Omatako Dam and the Swakoppoort Dam.
Ferdi Brinkman, the chief engineer in the department of infrastructure, water and waste management at the City of Windhoek, said if no inflow is received by the end of next year, the country could run dry by August next year.
Amukugo said in terms of supply planning, the central area has to ensure that there is enough water for two rainy seasons without any inflow into the three dams.
"Due to the dry and extremely hot conditions in January 2013, demand in Windhoek was more than 10% higher than January 2012. At the current demand patterns, and taking normal demand growth into consideration, the current effective supply from storage will not be able to sustain the demand," said Amukugo.
He stressed that there is no reason for panic yet, but that it is necessary for consumers to use less water.
As a result, the City of Windhoek has imposed water restrictions including a ban on the use of hosepipes to wash cars, the mandatory covering of all private swimming pools when not in use, and no watering of gardens between the hours of 10h00 and 16h00....
