Not likely.
Hope not.
I guess the June NAV is of less interest to me in valuing the shares then the ability to use the bond funds raised to increase investments/reduce higher priced debt for the future.
Iappreciate your analysis. OTOH, I believe that The REIT sector will be showing increased dividends over the next 3 years. I expect Comercial and appartment REITs will increase dividendsin the next 3 quarters and that will result in increasing dividend income which will be paid to us. Check the sector investments in this link http://www.cohenandsteers.com/assets/content/resources/literature/CFS34-Q212_REIT_Preferred_071812.pdf. Note that holdings in Preferred stock have deminished and that there is a substantial increase in banking sector. Just my Opinion.
Expect that the price will be back to this level by end of 3rd Q. NAV growth exceeds 4.6% per qtr. Uaed this opportunity to increase my shares.
What lawsuit are you referring to?
Patience
Another director tqakes up additional shares.
Like ARCC, AINV and ACAS if you don't mind waiting for a renewed dividend but accepting share price increase due to tax avoidance and NAV increasing as a result of share repurchse and increasing fee income.
While I don't expect to return to the old monthly rate of dividends, I feel that the company will increase the dividend in the 3rd or 4th Quarter. Any thoughts?
Thanks for the post and link.
What is your prediction?
Any Schwab account get the dividends posted yet? Still don't have mine?
Coal's problem is the EPA and government. Unless their position changes Coal is doomed.
Bought a little (1k)at 5.32 today. Believe the dividend remains safe and there is some opportunity for gain.
Congratulations to those of you who sold at a profit and bought back in. Still holding and expect the stock price will increase and the investment will grow. Not a trader just and investor.
Wrong-Additional funds will be invested and dividends will grow, stock value will oncrease. Our risk is that mgmt will not be able to secure returns on the addition al funds raised. I like the future growth and don't have a problem with the temporary decrease in value. BDC's must do so to grow.
Having some problem Identifying why the price is changing so rapidly. No bad news, volume slightly increased from average but not enough to indicate a real run against the stock. Anyone have any insight as to the price drop?
I think your timing may be a little off. Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today revised its outlook on iStar Asset Services Inc. (iSAS) to stable from negative as a commercial loan primary servicer. We also affirmed our STRONG overall ranking on the company as a commercial loan primary servicer and our ABOVE AVERAGE overall ranking on the company as a commercial special servicer. The financial position is Sufficient. Following the outlook revision for primary servicing, both ranking outlooks are stable.
Remember Tax deferred accounts and the need for dividend income for retired people.
