Why wait for someone to die. You don't put "Ludicrose" mode unless your a little off
This is a real issue that I wish more people would understand. Its very similar to "Mothers Against Drunk Driving". Also, who needs to go 150 mph and is promoted constantly unlike even real supercars
80% of US power still comes from dirty coal power plants which are powering most Tesla auto's. Percentage of households with solar is under 5% as many states are not for solar applications, and the fact that many households are letting the panels get more efficient before they buy. No EV car is clean. Coal is filthy.
Tesla has never created the vast amount of supercharges as he promised. No infrastructure means no sales to most intelligent folk heh?? George clooney returned his car since there is no place in gigantic l.a.
Tesla is promoting the use of SolarCity which Panasonic and Spectrolab has greatly exceeded SolarCitys efficency----so why does elon push solarcity if they are not as efficent?? Who knows the cost difference to mfg?? That is a silly question. Its proprietary information of each company of course.
I would guess about 75 miles if there are no hills, There are hills everwhere except maybe Kansas
Also that was last november that they set the record and have achieved up to 44% with some of their methods. Wonder how much higher 1 year later.
Not true. These are already being supplied to various spacecraft mfgs and drone mfgs. Boeing is not the OEM, its Spectrolab, their subsidary. Means nothing as SolarCity is far behind both Panasonic and Spectrolab and whatever other big boy company is entering the market like GE
Just did some research and as I thought Spectrolab, a subsidiary of Boeing, has achieved an incredible 38.8% solar cell efficency. Already being used on spacecraft for years, and now drones. Big boys in town. SolarCity and Musk have a large problem as Boeing would never sell this tech to Tesla
Spectrolab, a subsidiary of Boeing, has the title of the worlds most efficent solar cells at 38.8%. Look it up. SolarCity doesn't stand a chance with the real big boys entering the game.
SCTY efficiency of 22.04% just beat out by Panasonic which yields 25.6%. Competition is all around
Thats because, and I forget where I read it, that by the time it really comes out it willl be closer to the 50k to 60 k range. The way prices are rising in 2-3 years that sounds like a good estimate. The 35k is even mentioned anymore by Tesla
An engineering miracle, even though not a miracle just good engineering, was putting a man on the moon. Making a car is a miracle to you.......... don't know about that one at all
IMHO the 737 cargo proposal happens to be a great idea. Sure FedX and others use the larger 767, in addition to other large planes, but the 737 is the right size for so many cities and area's with cargo needs, but not as large. Using the 737 on these routes would greatly save fuel and the cost of doing business. Would be a huge seller.
Don't have basher friends---just care about the quality of our air.
