what have I been saying all along. Greek don't know 'it as BTIG hit the nail on the head:

"BTIG Research‘s Walter Piecyk this afternoon cut his rating on shares of Sprint (S) to Sell from Neutral, with a $3.25 price target, writing that “We do not see a path by which Sprint can return to revenue growth, let alone EBITDA growth or positive free cash flow.”"

Greek has bloviated that sprint has vast spectrum worth a gagillion dollars. LOL

But in reality sprint is nothing more than a proxy clearwire now:

"Sprint sits on a massive 2.5 GHz spectrum position that we believe it could monetize through secondary market transactions. We estimate Sprint would have to sell at least $5 billion of spectrum this year in order for the company’s operating business to be worth the value of its net debt at the end of 2015."

For any of you that have been around since the sprint clearwire days this should sound really familiar. Same story different company.

I feel bad for Masayoshi Son and happy for Dan whom I hope is enjoying his retirement.

In other news it looks like Charlie Ergen has again taken the reigns of DISH:

Barrons: Dish's Ergen Returns to (Maybe) Challenge Phone Incumbents

So with Clayton retiring and Charlie stepping back in as CEO at the end of March a merger may be in the offering - with TMUS of course as TMUS has the ability to make profits.

Now it is greeks turn to spin this to his hearts content, but beware sprint investors he speaks with a forked tongue. LOL

I guess that is better than being a number two! LOL Just saying.

TMUS kicking greeks, and sprints, rear end all over the place! LOL

Looks like, what I have been saying all of the time, that TMUS does not suck and I will make another ten grand in equity appreciation today! ROFLMAO

    Read and weep sprint longs!

"T-Mobile said it ended the year with more than 55 million customers after adding 2.1 million in the fourth quarter and 8.3 million during the year. It has heavily promoted discounts to win customers from other carriers.

The Bellevue, Washington-based company said it had a profit of 12 cents per share."

When was the last time sprint saw a profit? LOL Enquiring minds want to know!

    Good trade!

  • ru14u23nk ru14u23nk Feb 18, 2015 8:24 PM Flag

That is exactly why I trade rather than hold this stock long. This company is only a hurtin' speculative play. I bet yah that greek will spin this as positive news in the hopes to get the price up for sprint to offer the dilutive shares, but I wont know as I have all his ids on ignore. LOL

    Longs BEWARE!

  • Softbank will not fund sprint indefinitely:

"Softbank‘s (9984.Japan) CEO Masayoshi Son acknowledged on Tuesday that a Sprint (S) turnaround was harder than he had thought.

We asked the CEO how would he balance his desire to take entrepreneurial risk (re further investment in Sprint) without quitting, with his expertise as a successful investment manager where he has not taken irrational exposure in a single investment that could put his entire company at risk? Mr. Son responded, that he views 30% of his company’s equity value as the maximum exposure that he is willing to risk for a single investment. This makes us confident that Softbank will remain discreet about its exposure towards Sprint and will be contained."

Looks like Masayoshi Son may have the option to use sprint as a write off someday. Oh well, that's business.

No convenient omitting on my part. Just posting the relevant part:

"Sprint finished a distant fourth across quality measurements nationally, by state and by metro area."

As the topic is: "Sprint Receives Lowest Grades in Wireless"

What is it with you guys? You have a problem with comprehending?

  • ru14u23nk ru14u23nk Feb 10, 2015 10:41 AM Flag

I have never seen someone spew so much BS such as greek. All of his rants are purely speculative in nature: Spectrum is worth this, Sprint to merge with TMUS, Sprint to partner with DISH, yadda , yadda, yadda.

Even Masayoshi Son believes there is no quick solution to sprint's ails so investors in sprint should not expect much if anything. From today's Reuters' article:

"Overall, SoftBank is doing well, but with Sprint...being in a tough situation, I think it will have a long battle to fight," Masayoshi Son, chief executive of Japan's third-biggest mobile carrier by subscriber numbers, told reporters in Tokyo.

I guess if you are a long term investor, say have a 300 year vision like Masayoshi Son, your heirs may see some improvement. LOL

  • The report below is straight forward and no spin BS like greek posts:

Sprint Corp. (NYSE: S) still has a very long way to go in terms of the perception of its service among consumers. Moving into Radio Shack stores and increasing promotions will not solve the problem. In a major study of wireless service quality, Sprint continues to receive lower grades, on average, than its rivals AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T), Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) and T-Mobile US Inc. (NASDAQ: TMUS).

In the new RootMetrics 2nd Half 2014 Mobile Network Performance Review, Sprint finished a distant fourth across quality measurements nationally, by state and by metro area. It received 167 “first-place finishes” compared to Verizon’s 799, AT&T’s 493 and T-Mobile’s 205. RootMetrics performed 5.7 million tests across the country, in all 50 states and the 125 largest metropolitan areas.

Only morons are the ones investing in this company. And apparently you can't read as the statement is very straight forward: "Sprint Receives Lowest Grades in RootMetrics Performance Review"

I guess you are the other moron. ROFLMAO

Really, changing the name and color scheme is going to make the network better? Can't stop laughing.

    GO TMUS!

"that's just pure speculation in that article"

You are funny greek. You are quick to point out items that you deem speculative which do not agree with your narrative while you pontificate nothing but speculation.
