"Oxaydo is the first and only IR oxycodone that discourages intranasal abuse." as per Marilyn Novell Bulloch, PharmD BCPS.
Apparently this is where Kempharm went wrong -- they were unable to provide the FDA committee enough evidence to show that their drug couldn't be snorted.
Another thing to take note is that the share price of EGLT didn't improve after FDA approval for their abuse-deterrent label. An article of Seeking Alpha was stating that 30% of users would not use Oxaydo again.
I believe Zohydro was acquired from Zogenix (ZGNX). Let's continue this over the weekend. I'm going to have to do some more research so that I can keep up with your knowledge. Over and out.
KMPH stock is like a lottery ticket at the moment. FDA approves label the stock skyrockets. If not then the stock tanks even further. Good luck to all.
My mistake. The abuse-deterrence label for Zyhydro ER was rejected 1 year and two months ago -- not 2 months ago. If Kempharm follows the same path as PTX then expect the share price to fall further. PTX's sales of Zyhdro isn't exactly stellar either. Without the label these drugs will be a tough sell.
I wouldn't bet the farm on this. Look at PTX. Their abuse-deterrent drug label got rejected by the FDA also a couple of months ago.
There are a few but off the top of my head Cara Therapeutics (CARA) is also working on these type of drugs. 18 not in favor vs 2 in favor of label....makes you wonder if those 18 got paid off by drug companies that stand to lose the most if the label gets approved by the FDA.
Could be a rough road ahead to market their new drug. Markets are forward looking. Invest with caution.
Hey man, I'm unbiased and telling things as they are. I'm neither short nor long. Just watching on the side. If you can't handle the truth then you have no business playing the stock market unless you want to lose your shirt.
I'll seriously look into buying if it ever gets to the 20 cent range and make some swing trades. Still too risky at these levels.
The markets have no mercy for stocks that have a high debt and high potential for bankruptcy...like SUNE. If you want to lose less money then stop being delusional and keep things real. Know when to cut your losses.
HTBX's Total Debt/Equity of 166.53%. Future only looks promising if they can find a cure for cancer. What are the odds of that?
