Not in the slightest. They've demonstrated their ability to turn technology and innovation into revenue streams. Applying crystal growth and cutting technologies to solar, mobile, power conversion and other applications. This is all just getting started. In my mind, easy double by the end of the year. Plenty of growth in 2015 and 2016 is already booked to justify a much higher valuation.
There won't be any clarity for quite some time. This will hang over the market and allow shorts to take it lower. I have no idea where it opens tomorrow, but by then end of the week, the market will be lower.
My guess is that we won't do anything. We'll wait for the UN to make a decision and they'll never get their act together. Putin understands all this which is why he did it in the first place. When you project weakness with someone like Putin, they'll put you in an awkward position.
Won't it be the entities who wrote the calls that have to deliver the shares? That's not the shorts as far as I know.
I haven't looked back, but my recollection is that the bashers are the ones who receive the wrath. It's one thing to sell and yet another to sell and post messages spewing how bad the company is when you were long yesterday. The swing traders are annoying because their opinion on the company is essentially worthless and they clutter up an otherwise decent message board.
There are shorts on the board that get bashed as well - and rightfully so given the performance of the stock over the past 6 months. And their logical case for being short is ridiculous.
Here's the GLW CEO. On top of his 8M/year salary, he still has to dump his shares. What does that say about the future of GLW???? .... nothing.

Cool. Nice to get those shares off the books so we don't have to worry during the next leg up. They're going to feel silly for dumping early like TG did at $10.19.
To quote Rooster Cogburn, "I don't believe in fairy tales or sermons or stories about money. baby sister."
So what is your point in these postings? Are you lonely? Who exactly are you directing your lectures at? Are you trying to build credibility with others on the board? Who? Do you think anyone on this board will follow you in or out of a trade? Why share so much of your personal information?
You know, I've tried to not put you on ignore like seemingly everyone else here has, but you make it really difficult.
I think they just didn't have time during the CC. I believe they'll be talking about all their businesses in more detail on the 14th.
