The man's assistant went on. "I have a gigantic, enormous cage filled with monkeys. I will sell them to you for only $35 each and when the man returns from the city you can sell them to him for $50 each and make a fat profit. You don't even have to work to find monkeys at all. Then you can not only buy all the food you need for this winter you call all buy flat panel TVs, too."
The villagers were thrilled. They collected all of their savings together and bought all the monkeys in the assistant's cage then awaited the man's return.
They never saw the man nor his assistant again. All the monkeys that were once in the woods were now in the village. All of the villager's savings were gone. That winter, half the villagers starved.
CLDX pumpers reminding me of this classic story...
Once upon a time in a village a man appeared and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each.
The villagers knew that there were many monkeys in their forest. They left their farms on the plains and went into the forest to catch them. The man bought thousands at $10.
As the supply of monkeys started to diminish the villagers stopped looking. Finding and catching monkeys was soon no longer worth the effort for $10. They started to return to their farms to plant the spring crop.
The man then announced that he would buy monkeys for $20 each. This new higher price renewed the effort of the villagers and they headed back into the forest to find and catch monkeys again to sell.
When the monkey supply diminished even further that summer and the people started to return to their farms, worried they had not made enough money selling monkeys to buy all the food they needed but had not planted any crops yet either, the man raised the price he'd pay for monkeys to $25 each. The hunt was on again.
Soon the supply of monkeys became so small that a villager didn't see a monkey in a day of hunting let alone catch one. Even at $25 each the effort was not profitable so the villagers finally headed back to their farms that fall. After nine month's absence from their farms they knew the time had passed to produce enough food for the coming winter, but at least now they had enough money from selling monkeys to buy food to eat.
But the man wasn't finished. He announced that he would buy monkeys for $50 each! The villagers became very excited. He also explained that he had to go to the city on business and that his assistant was to stay behind to buy monkeys on his behalf.
As soon as the man left the assistant told the villagers, "So you think you have made a lot of money selling monkeys, don't you? But do you want to really get rich?"
"Yes, yes!" said the villagers.
Dude, do you know how long CLDX is in the cancer curing business ???? CLDX should not be called "small and growing bio pharma" company by now. They have raised cash, time after time, acquiring company after company and promising cancer curing drugs year after year for the past 30 years.. somehow, someway, phase I and II always looked promising, and then phase III became .... nothing..and of course no FDA approval to show for the efforts. Investors (retail investors, MFs, IRAs, 401K) were always holding the bag.. CLDX stock used to be traded at $300/share.. don't look at the sky from the bottom of the water well, and lecture people of how big is your world ....
stock traded $26 at the open market, but if CLDX listens to posters on this board, they should priced at least $100 for this offering..because CLDX products are beyond game-changer.. smart investors should paid $100 for this offering instead of buying at the open market, so CLDX can raise cash faster.. CLDX stock was up 300% YTD which is NOT enough to justify the goodness of their innovations, wait until the first product sold, CLDX could reach $100,00 a share by then.... that is the consensus of the majority posters on this board...
I laugh so hard, I just farted...
I didn't know when a stock drop is very bad news for shorts ? it appears that math and science is your strength, so I wouldn't even attempt to debate with you on that topic.. look like a lot of posters on this board either had brain damage or consuming the same drugs that affect their ability to think clear.
yea.. CLDX should buy MRK, PFE and SGEN.. that would accelerated their revs and income right away while CLDX sells more shares for cash.. Excellent idea frankie...
can't fix stupid... why does anyone wants to pay higher for new shares versus lower price for open market ? stupid is as stupid does...
many paid pumpers on this MB, their logic are not based on facts, just a bunch of mumble, jumble about future potentials.. stock has been down more than 40% for the past 2 mos. zero revenues, sell more shares to raise cash..none of the senior management own CLDX shares, many compound IPs were licensed from SGEN, MRK, and other universities.
Survivor rates on some of the trials were not statistical significant (1, 2), tumor reduction rate is about the same as trials conducted by other companies.. CLDX has not shown market validation for each compound, and which competition is currently in each space, and how CLDX compounds exceed in term of clinical benefits, and competitive costs. In addition, CLDX needs to demonstrate that patients who received the treatment have quality of life, not paying CLDX for $KK, but laying in the hospital bed for the rest of their lives.. none of these facts known, so stop being pumpers and pretend cancer cure is as easy as walking in the park, so CLDX stock will keep going up... so sick of these pumpers...
executives get pay raise and huge stock options.. none of senior leadership owns CLDX stock.. why is that ?
shares will be diluted, by the time the first production, there'll be too many floated shares that may not worth as much..So basically, early investors are just to fund the R&D, along the way CLDX keeps adding more shares to pay high price executives.. This company has not generated a single dollar while raising more than $2bil with a promise of curing all the cancers in the world... I don't think I should risk my hard earned money to invest in a promise by some executives.. will pull my plug at the open tomorrow... enough is enough...
Carson Block's slandering have negatively impacted NQ stock prices, its reputation, products, services, management, employees, and its investors. His false allegations were based on bogus research without facts checking and verification before releasing to public with the intention of inflicting maximum damage to NQ.
The only failure is NOT TO TRY YOUR BEST... against all odds, he's sure tried his best..
RNC can't complaint if they don't want to participate.. it is easy to stand on a sideline and criticize, then be a part of the team to create the best solution for this country..you must be very happy to validate the Mitch McConnell and Rush Lumpbag's commitments to make this president a failure.. get the fuoooock out of here.. you are a stupid racist..
didn't get lucky today heh, Luckyexpress ?? not even up for 5 second today..lol
why do you guys get excited about 45 days old news ? In addition, FMR paid $35.43 for those shares.. this is not Fidelity money, this is retail investors money like 401K, IRA, Pension plans, and others.. this is a method of transferring public money into private accounts.. why don't you guys see beyond the obvious ?
positive news don't mean nothing until the FDA's approval.. that is what happen to SRPT when FDA has negative report about their drug for being pre-mature.. stock drops from 55 to 14 in less than 3 weeks.. all the bios companies face the same dilemma, CLDX is no exception.. over-confident about a bios company to get FDA approval for any drug is a fool. The facts are, there're more failure than success..
waiting for market picks up ? which market are you referring to ? because DOW, NASDAQ and SP have made record high today. the only classic about this stock is markets are going higher and CLDX is heading lower...
