These trust were not meant to constantly trade with however you may have to and by using options just to be lucky to break even.. These trusts were a complete failure. Tom Ward and engineers should be selling T-shirts.. sorry if I insulted anyone selling T-shirts..
You must be kidding as if Cramer matters here.. you think he has the time to investigate this company? He's an entertainer and he as to prepare for his next show with general and obvious material.
"LNG terminals are being built"
Dept of Energy is taking baby steps..
SDR & SDT are saying we need higher prices soon and for the Miss/L.. Miss/L needs to improve in many aspects..
"ML is the best play in the country"
At the moment it doesn't reflect was happening with SDR and SDT.. as there are getting a sh-lacking that is actually very disturbing from where TW & the Motley crew of engineers IPO'd those trusts..
Obviously it had more than 100K while SD and company said it had 100 miles.. I feel.. actually most of us feel we've been had. There's no denying the fact that anyone who bought at the IPO lost large % of their original investment unless your an options genius. I would say at this point no reason to sell just collect the distributions and hope to break even one year. The day to sell was when SDR's debacle first came to light. I will now only invest in a management with a PROVEN TRACK RECORD and believes in the statement of "fiduciary responsibility to shareholders"! Good luck to all we're going to need it.
Parallel Petroleum Corp
Nightmare investments/spec plays..
Parallel Petroleum Corp did get some pennies on the dollar..
It's also a sad fact that this country treats NatGas as a waste of time.. I believe they are flaring more NatGas then using it. Other countries like China understands the value of this gift we were given.. I've been trying to hold out for years with this company but I made the decision to capitulate at the pop on the 8th. It's been a horror story the way the company is treating the common share holder. There have been many distressed companies in the past that at the least told their shareholders that they would be looking for a buying or funding... I see no reason why this management should not come out from hiding and give the common a clue to what they are trying to accomplish if your shopping this company then say so!
Either way I wish you well and I hope you can get what is rightfully your in the Bakken!
I agree with the potential the of GMXR's assets.. The problem is "Wall st" and other O&G companies will try to grab (steal) those assets from the common as they did so many times before with other distressed companies!.. it's sad but true....
The problem is that there are shareholders out there that are not going to vote for some reason or another, whether it's in a mutual fund or an investor that doesn't pay attention to of his or her's portfolio..
If you don't VOTE it will go to TW.. kinda stinks doesn't it..
A better comparison would be these O&G companies:
Parallel Petroleum Corp
Do some research on these companies only 1 restructured with a Bankruptcy ( with the help of Jefferies) the rest had the common taken out for pennies on the dollar..
GDI is not a distressed company.. no comparison here.. When a company is in distress the common is last in line..
My losses stand at 77%.. 50% would be ideal.. everything has stopped for me until I pull the trigger on this thing.. I would hate to see a buyout if I sell now
Agree.. trying to decide if I should exit now however if yesterday is any indication of today's trading we may hit $5 at the close.. It's a pure Gamble without any type of news.. Insider buying?.. short covering? a well orchestrated exit? who knows?
Yahoo gives a rats backside.. they have the resources to do whatever it takes to rid these boards of anyone using these types of tactics.. using misleading and false statements to make gains in a public forum is illegal period... Whether anyone was fool by this statement doesn't matter.. As one poster stated your messing with people's livelihoods..
"LNG terminal start exporting in 2014'
DOE taking it very slow with the export of LNG..
Passing the NatGas Act would have solved so many problems..
We can't get north American Oil to the refineries quick enough to the point we are starting to increase our imports from Venezuela and Saudi Arabia Again!.. very sad...
