Yes. I only had 500 sh left. Needed to fund 20K more of avxl, which I want for trading shares on news. As for NVIV, I am concerned about the monetization of that procedure at the present market cap. OTOH, I can see them getting bought out by someone like Boston Scientific for a nice gain to holders. The large companies can afford to think long term on the monetization. Not a seer, but suspect they could go for 25-30 per share. That said, the technology has some application elsewhere and may be worth more than I think. For now, I'm all in with AVXL.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Sure hope so. Sold NVIV and bought more AVXL today. I have never owned so many shares of one stock. BTW and OT, NVIV results today portend a giant leap for all of mankind in the area of fresh spinal cord injuries. I rode it from 4 to 17. Moved the money to here as an investment decision. But recommend reading today's NVIV PR as a marker for medical advancement and hope for those with formerly hopeless serious spinal cord injury.
I was expecting a rise into the 17s, since this is the most sold news yet. But lots of sells at the open. Sell the news-ers, I guess. Plus the Greece crisis is playing out. Perilous times for the market.
I hope so. It's been brutal. I'm thinking it will stop short of Wainwright's target, say 6-7 for now, until they start p1. No matter, I'd rather be stuck at 7 than 4.
Hope you're right for all our sakes. As for cute, I did the same. Much better than the alternative, which is not cute.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I put him on iggy. Amazing how it cleans up this board.
The reason reinhardtrex is no longer posting is professional. COI. He tried to give us all a hint without compromising his integrity, and he did. He won't be posting again and he hasn't taken another identity like our clueless poster ending in P and D. Hint: Look at today's announcement and do your homework and you'll see what I mean. It should bring a smile to your face with little bitty $$ signs visible in your pupils if you look closely in the mirror. Cheers.
I'm up for M&A. A quick $3+ would be outstanding. OTOH, a year from now this could have a substantial market cap. Either way suits me fine.
And, yes, that's what prompted my question. This PR didn't sound like an end-zone dance. However, I realized up front if they were seriously weak, this would have tanked, not skidded -.14 with the market.
Market reacting about average for this big down day. Are these results good, bad, ugly? They don't sound great to me, and the market is giving them a big yawn -to-slightly-negative response.
True, but as an investment, it has sucked beyond words for a long time. I'm a long term b/h with 7K shares and am sorely disappointed with its ability to crawl back into double digits. We don't need cheer-leading now (not a criticism of your post; those are facts) we need EXECUTION.
I am absolutely on board with that! Just trying to temper my own expectations. And hey, 66 can still be pretty energetic. Especially with a billion dollars on the line!
