Your right about the units sold. 5.2 Million sold last year with expectation of around 6 million this year. They are also expecting higher sales with the new GoPro Hero 5 when it comes out.
There have been a couple of stories out that the AMD's A10 is going into all the new GoPro Hero 5's. That is between 50 and 60 million units a year. Figuring a margin of 35%, wouldn't that get Lisa Su her 50 cents a share just on the GoPro deal alone? With a PE of around 15 that would be $7.50 a share just on this one deal. Speculation at best, but I'm interested in hearing what people think.
GoPro shipped 2.4 million capture devices in Q4 and 5.2 million in the full year 2014. GoPro capture devices shipped in Q4 2014 exceeded that of the full year 2012.
AMD inside all the new GoPro Hero 5's.
Not any more, but their staff can.
I would rather wait a couple of years and cash out. If AMD does go on the auction block, I would have to think that the IP is worth over $5 on it's own. The ownership of the only other X86 will start a bidding war that could be very good for investors. I'm not holding my breath, but it would be nice.

The buyout rumor has been going on for years. However, It is very unusual to see zero insider trading since November 9th. It could very well be that they are restricted from trading at this time for some important reason. I can't wait to see what it is.
