A question for those on this board that are knowledgeable about Triferic and the dialysis industry:
Will there be a need for any/much training for those who actually perform the dialysis procedures if their company switches to Triferic?
In my opinion, in 6-9 months we should start to see some results for both drug, perhaps more on Calcitrol than Triferic. Not sure why you think that an announcement will be made before the CC, it would be nice. I believe there are Two major reasons that the stock has not moved up since the approval, One is the major players want to get a feel for how successful the launch will be, size of the market, potential sales and earnings, etc. before they come in and bid the stock up. The other reason is the organized shorts and their efforts including having shorted more to keep the stock from picking up momentum. The solution to both reasons: Sales and earnings and that will take time.
If you expect to get answers to all your questions above, I am afraid you may/will be disappointed during the CC. Some of the answers the management may not even know, and some may not want to go public with for various reasons. My guess is that we will hear that the management is very happy about the FDA approval and feels that the future can be bright for the company, perhaps a bit more than that, that's all. That is my expectation,
If we get much more it will be a pleasant surprise. As for earnings my guess is that they would report a loss but less than the recent quarters and a step closer to break even.(IMHO, long RMTI, do your own DD).
Thanks for your informative post. You seem to be knowledgeable about the industry. Time will tell how successful Calcitrol and Triferic will be as commercial products. I am in the hopeful camp but don't expect much firework in the short term. I would love to be pleasantly surprised but am not holding my breath. As long as the fundamentals are strong I plan to hold.
I agree with you. I believe there is already too much expectations have been put in place for the conference call. Conservative CEO's do not telegraph much about the future except in general terms. It should not be surprising if not much is announced in the CC. Launching new drugs takes time and effort. Perhaps one of the reasons that the shorts have not rushed to cover is the fact that it will take time before sales and earnings show up and shorts are hoping that some bumps in the road as well as market drops will provide better opportunities to cover. Just like prior to the FDA approval those who had/ have high expectations for the very short term may/will be disappointed.(IMHO, long RMTI, do your own DD).
In my opinion, one reason was the option expiration (today) and the other and perhaps more important reason is the organized shorts taking advantage of lack of any news, development, positive announcements, etc. We can not underestimate the effect of almost 10 MM shares short and what the organized shorts wold do to prevent the stock from going up. Realistically, we don't have any reason yet for the big players to come in and bid the stock up. We need sales and earnings for that. (IMHO, long RMTI, do your own DD).
Today being the option expiration day, it looks like that 11 will most likely be the target price for the end of the day but 10 can not be ruled out. In my opinion, if it goes below 10.50 shortly, then chances are that they will target 10 for the end of day price, time will tell. The low trading volume may be increasing the chance for more volatility for the rest of the day. (IMHO, long RMTI, do your own DD).
"...transfer of ownership"??? What are you talking about?? Is that your way of hyping a buy out possibility? I hope you are not implying that a buy out is a done deal. While anything is possible but such comments will not be constructive and raise expectations for no reason. As a matter of fact they can help the shorts by creating false hope and the disappointment that follows. Just because the management has not had any press releases recently, it does not mean that a buy out is coming!
Put these paid bashers who just post to please their masters on IGNORE, they are not worth any attention. They know well what is coming!
As someone who works in the industry, your comments are very encouraging. Thanks.
The question remains if the target price is 11 or to a lesser degree 12 or 10. So far it looks like 11 but by Wednesday we should have a bit more visibility, just my opinion.
You answered that character's question on in a logical and informative manner. The problem is that you are dealing with a paid basher that posts to please his masters. Don't waste your time. Just ignore!
I would not know about how long it would take but my guess is at least a few months. The activities I was referring to was the constructions in the area in general(new casino, etc.).
Many years ago I lost all trust in Cramer and his gang, no credibility in my opinion. I refuse to watch his program. AF is not even worth mentioning.
