I think Linn realizes if they reduce or eliminate the distribution the stock will get hammered. No more stock equity raises as the price heads lower.
Correct, this month business as usual. As the months go by the distribution becomes in doubt if oil doesn't rebound significantly.
I wouldn't buy here folks. Linn's chart is very, very bad. Almost like dividend cut is eminent but who knows with this company. They SAID it was safe for 2015. They also said no equity raise via stock offering. How can you possibly trust this company anymore?
There are a lot of loud mouths on this board calling for the demise of Linn. Their messages may be crudely written but they have been spot on with Linn. If oil doesn't not rise in the next 12 months Linn is in BIG trouble. Distribution will be cut or gone. That is a matter of time. Reality is this case blows but it is what it is. Sad
Don't you think NG will rise when we start exporting it to a greater extent in the years to come? Look at the price of NG around the rest of the world.
And what was done with the remaining proceeds? Why didn't they do this offering when the stock was at 14?
In saying that what would your guess be as to how much of a haircut the stock takes when the dividend disappears? 10-15 %?
Opi, when do you think the divi will get cut or disappear.? My guess is before the end of the year.
