I would buy this at an aggressively discounted price. There is nothing going for it other than what they are getting now. Then again, it may find a hit. Right now, it's a generic game. Keeping an eye out on this turd.
How's this turd doing? Stop spending money on getting more users and spend money on building networks. No use getting more users if they join and then feel the pain of no coverage. FOCUS on the network dimwit ceo.
Microsoft won't like this and so will intel. We might hear alliance between intel and microsoft later...I guess, --the two sloth giants should be a little worried.
btw, if I'm budget person, I'd still save up and get the 750 from nvidia. ---but that's me.
the people who choose nvidia will stick with nvidia. It's good that AMD release something competitive, it'll help entry level user afford PC experience. I think more and more people converting from console to PC... steam machine will only accelerate the transition. It will only serve to eat up the console market. Good for AMD.
Android gaming push may go beyond tegra (baby gpu)...it might just support a rig with chrome os. Gamers only care about desktop because of discrete gpu.
enjoy your amd blood bath next quarter when margin further decline. It's a legitimate question and if you follow the roadmap, amd and nvidia is futher moving away from the reliance of the cpu. CUDA in particular is pushing for it. It may still need x86 or 64 cpu to run the OS but that's about it.
To those who have been following the roadmap. How likely will be the scenario of Denver and Pascal working together to gain independence from intel cpu and SLI will be communication directly between gpu's? It looks like this is what AMD is trying to do with Mantle from the software side. It looks like nvidia is a few steps ahead.
Yep. Chromebook doesn't really need a faster CPU. Plus, TK1 is good enough. It just means more support for Nvidia's GPU. I can see developers gearing up to take advantage of the proliferation of the GPU :)
PS...listen to outhouse and see what happens next quarter. LOL...only small retail investors here...not gonna make a drop on share price.
