your use of all caps is a clear indication of your intellect.
"Belviq WoW IMS script trends demonstrate growth in both TRx and NRx. Belviq TRx increased 9.4% and NRx increased 9.2%,"
pharmacy wont have it till Saterday, i need to have my MD call BX/BS to get approval i don't know what the co-pay will be yet
you were on ignore but i looked at your post and its a valid question. the md's words were "2 scripts one for 30 pills its two pills a day and one for 90 days my office will call it in"
one for 30 pills one for 180 pills so yes 2 scripts but over a 3 month supply, and we dont know how or if they will be counted, i use express scripts.
i hope so, we will see. my MD had been to a presentation and new about the 15 day offer. i got 2 scripts covering 105 days or 210 pills. i got some insight into the way MD's are being advised to wright for B
well it took two months - much longer than i thought to get in to see my GP. I have a bmi of 31 been struggling to keep weight down for about 20 years been between 195 230 no other co morbidity, I got 1 30#pill and 1 180#pill script for B. don't know pharmacy will have it, or if my Blue crows blue shield managed major of ma. will cover.
i am long arna for the pipeline. i suspect that others that are interested in loosing weight also had a delay betting into there md.
yes Vertex had a great launch with INCIVEK.
but we are comparing apples and people weighting to by apples
As a new HepC treatment it provided hope to a large pool that had not responded to other treatments and some of them had waited years to get that drug. the real comparison is in the scrip count to potential population.
there are about 3.2m hcv+ in the usa thats 1.8% of population and 1500 scripts =.05%.
arna has100m obese people in the us 30% of our population and did like 10K scripts in the first month = .01%
Vertex launch beat arna by 0.04% points, although most of vertex hcv patients had either failed a treatment or been told that the genome type of hcv they had could not be treated intill vertex drug got approved. i believe that vertex patients were more motivated and already on track to receive treatment prior to launch.
jest my two cents
and i suck at math so Caveat emptor.
