Whoa.....sammy did NOT say "we sold all our shares and we're filing for chapter 11"!
As I've stated we're going to have to agree to disagree, but quit making up BS to satisfy your ego that others claim, by you, that they have said.
FWIW I do know some original investors who have sold a portion of their holdings. I have not sold 1 single share and purchased more this past Friday.
I don't prey as you suggest, but I do pray that once again your last sentence is correct.
Good luck & good investing!
Take no offense. I'm no rookie either, over 30yrs of investing. We just have to agree to disagree.
Perhaps your last sentence is correct.
Best & good luck to you!
I personally doubt the drop is from one investor as you suggest. Rather the insiders already know the basis of the final qt. report coming out and they are selling a portion of their shares.
Also, I don't see this stock rebounding until more contracts are inked. We've been hearing good things are coming for many months now, but seems nothing significant has yet to develop.
Seems odd their not chiming in on this downturn! Maybe they were just cheerleaders, dunno.
Have sold NONE of my holdings. With the downswing this week somebody knows something on the upcoming report.
we've had plenty of volume the past 3 days for certain. Lot's of downward pressure.
Any thoughts and/or comments?
There's been more sellers than buyers this week naturally, so it doesn't bode well for the report.
Only time will tell.
Think your very incorrect. Tilson has been preaching this for over 2 years and LL is NOT throwing a lawsuit on him.
As a shareholder it scares me, but it seems he may just be correct of the selling of bad flooring by LL.
Think you might as well just forget about a lawsuit. Even more us shareholders gaining from such. It's impossible!
Than why hasn't LL filed a lawsuit against Tilson? After all he's been on to this for over 2 years.
As a shareholder it scares me to think with no lawsuit from LL in that length of time, that Tilson knows the truth on LL and it's bad flooring.
Only your second sentence is credible......They bought Orchard supply out of bankruptcy....
The rest is hogwash. Lowe's and even HD do NOT need this company unless they file for bankruptcy. What do you think that would do for our stock price? Maybe as a shareholder we get .50-60 cents a share.
As I shareholder I would like nothing better than to believe you. However, this is just getting started with investigations and a staggering number of lawsuits and it will take years for this to all work itself out.
LL is debt free and cash on the balance sheet. However, my concern is if they have enough cash to weather this storm. Add to that their sales are plummeting as people are going to sit back and wait to see how this pans out.
I would be very happy if LL can just maintain itself throughout this ordeal. Also would be content if it is above $35 a year from now as I don't think we've seen the stock bottom yet.
Look, I'm a shareholder too and would luv' nothing more than to believe your Cinderella fantasy of a 60-70 dollar recovery by the end of the year.
Investigations are pending! Lawsuits are pending! There are going to be damages! There are going to be testimonials! What about the independent tester of formalhyde in homes that was interviewed on CNBC a week are so ago?
Grant you there will be other news and many, many more stories to drown this out. However, it's not going to stop federal agencies and lawyers who will pursue this. This will take years to settle.
I will keep my holdings in LL, but I'm not buying any more no matter how low it gets.
To each their own and Good Investing to you!
Sure! Perhaps LL can take also all their remaining formalhyde flooring and paint it with #9 dye leaded red paint too & put a little bit more icing on the cake for Lowe's to jump in and swoop them up.
Lowe's & Home Depot do NOT need this company. You still believe in Santa Claus, too????
Your being narrow minded in your thinking. What about the thousands of Floor covering stores across the country that are not a big box store? They are the real professionals in my opinion.
I'm a LL shareholder as well, but we have to see what the final investigation determines before any us really know where this is headed.
Some investors here seem so desperate and hang on to such minimal speculation of a quick turn around. If on suggested of painting all the formeldahyde flooring with #9 red dye lead paint, some would probably even buy into that idea.
This stock is NOT going to turn on a dime and quickly have 30-40% rise until all has been investigated by government agencies and that takes lots of time.
As shareholders we just have too have extreme patience and perhaps add slowly to our positions on the dips.
Good Investing to all!
That is if the customer lives. Who wants windows and doors open for ventilation in the dead of Winter when it's sub zero degrees.
Your actual thought process of more Formaldehyde making material long lasting with absolutely no regards for what it does to human health is absurd!
I'm a shareholder of LL, FWIW.
You do realize there is formalhyde in both bamboo and cork flooring don't you?
The reports from independent testers in people homes?
Where are your facts??? You have none. It's just a pure speculation statement.
Are you that desperate to put out false information?
Your statement is simply not true.
The same can also be said of British Petroleum, Exxon, Chevron, and many other oil stocks that hit a new low this year.
And the real kicker is why is it higher @ the pumps than it was 2 months ago?
One word: Manipulation
