Should see some form 4's after the earnings release

  • sandeep25252013 sandeep25252013 1 hour 47 minutes ago Flag

I'm guessing $4.9 mill Rev minimum and hope for at least $5.4. Anything higher and I take the pins out of my Moberg Voo Doo Doll. Less than $4.5 is disaster. Operating Rev BTW not including the $3 mill patent sale. So hoping for $8.4 or higher

I think he has 2 id's but I know you think I am him; which is testimony to your stupidity. The examples of your stupidity, which are frequent, make me second guess your ability to connect the dots on Aware; DAwg

  • sandeep25252013 sandeep25252013 Sep 23, 2014 5:45 PM Flag

I have seen see that connection. I also saw the Aware Saudi Arabia connection. I don't see an Aware VFS or a VFS Fujitsu connection.

  • In looking at old Aware PR it indicates Aware as the major sub to Fujitsu. I can't find any info conecting VFS TasHeel with Fujitsu. Did find a story from a couple of weeks ago about how Egyptians aren't happy witht he process. Long Lines. Article is ambiguous as it states VFS is just gathering biometrics NOT issuing visas. Long lines make it sound like biometric data gathering is slow.

and .83 cents from where I reinvested the divs.

    another 10549 at 3.8844 at 4:26.

I'm sure DAwg will spin this positive. My feeling is stock's down 5.5%; holder exiting with weak support. Of course Stafford would always make his support look weak and since he is the only one in the know his movements are all that matters.

  • Problem was that I was afraid the form 4 would come out the same day as the announcement. That DAwg is MALICIOUS OBFUSCATION. We got played to the tune of 20%. Today's price action DAwg? Fibonacci you pompous poser.

Oh Oh I know this one. Mastercard is a credit card and Nigeria is a Republic comprising 36 states and is located in West Africa so Mastercard in Nigeria would be credit cards used in Nigeria. Just ask if there is anything else you want me to tell you.

  • IARPA’s effort to significantly boost facial recognition capabilities "represents a quantum leap in the amount of surveillance taking place in public places,” said Jay Stanley, a senior policy analyst with the American Civil Liberties Union’s Speech, Privacy and Technology Project, as quoted by USA Today.

Stanley noted that law enforcement and the like could easily run random facial recognition programs over surveillance video to assess the identities of crowds in public places without oversight.

IARPA gave industry representatives a solicitation briefing on the program in June, according to media reports.

Late last month, the Federal Bureau of Investigation published a request for information in developing “a roadmap for the FBI's future video analytics architecture” as the agency prepares to make its high-tech surveillance abilities all the more powerful.

In September, the Department of Homeland Security tested its Biometric Optical Surveillance System (BOSS) at a junior hockey game in Washington state. When it’s fully operational, BOSS could be used to identify a person of interest among a massive crowd in just seconds.

Considering Choo Choo and little Choo Choo are enigmas we should try to get DAwg to post some You Tube clips of them.

"So it does make sense to give it back. "............Precisely......that's why it makes no sense. You are crediting Aware with doing the right thing. History has taught us to use Stafford as a contrarian indicator.

If they did a buyback, one would think they would have to open up a bit on information in order to not have a huge imbalance of information between the buyer (Aware, Inc.) and the seller(s).

One more excellent reason there was not a buyback

DAwg as usual all bark no bite. What does it now being a "free issue" for you have to do with the ideas that IF the business has a future then shareholders would have benefited more from a share buy back.

  • "But the practice has broader implications. If a company is putting its spare cash toward buying its own stock, it is not investing in growing the business or increasing company wages. Critics also say the practice could be masking underlying weaknesses in the stock market, propping up stock prices and padding the pockets of executives who have stock options. The executives are the ones making the decisions afterall. But many investors welcome the rise in stock prices despite that claim. That’s because, through a buyback, they benefit from the company’s previously-sidelined cash.
But are massive stock buybacks a bigger sign of the overall economy? Buybacks are often simply an indication that a CEO sees no better way to spend corporate cash. Rick Newman says many CEOs are looking at the current global economy and not seeing a lot of return on investment..."
Key points from this article is: using cash to buy back stock props up the stock price. I question why Stafford chose to pay divs vs a stock buyback (assuming you retire the stock). If Stafford believes the business is viable and growable then based on Aware's valuation per share it would have been better leverage to buy back stock and retire it HOWEVER this would have supported stock price and forced Stafford to pay more for additional shares. Asymetrical knowledge is Stafford's mantra. Why buyback the shares and take the decision out of stock holders like FD's hands. Instead pay him a dividend and see if he has bills to pay or other more appealing investment options. As FD has stated he did not reinvest. Others as well I'm sure. Other reasons for divs instead of buyback: keeps share price lower affecting options. If kept low enough will affect what remaining mutual / index funds may be able to hold it. Affects marginabiity.

(Reuters) - Apple Inc is working with Dutch chipmaker NXP Semiconductors NV to add secure near-field communications (NFC) technology into the next iPhone, which would enable smartphone users to pay by touch, the Financial Times reported, citing people familiar with Apple's plans.

NXP will provide the secure near-field communications chips that will allow an iPhone to connect with payment terminals or ticketing systems, the daily reported. (http://on.ft.com/VRN8xK)

NFC technology allows a smartphone to communicate wirelessly with other devices by tapping them together.

Apple has invited media to a "special event" in its hometown of Cupertino, California on Sept. 9, when the iPhone maker is expected to unveil the latest versions of its best-selling smartphones.

Both Apple and NXP declined comment.

If by better you mean AWRE has $1.75 cash / sh and IWSY has $0.02 and AWRE has $1.03 / Sh Revenue and IWSY has $0.06 Then yes AWRE is better. If based on future revenue growth then your crystal ball is as good as anyone.
