    HARTJED - where are you?

I'll start selling when the big boys come along. Remember ABX invested in 10% of this company AT and ABOVE $2 / share - and that was with gold under $1000 / oz. I think i'll hold and accumulate - i've sold too many stocks too early and I dont want to get burned like that again.

Also, keep in mind ABX is committed to funding $30 million in exploration with their deal with MDW - thats a nice way to increase resources without dilution or debt.

Your short position is getting HAMMERED. OUCH!

Buy back yet or are you waiting for this stock to return to $2/share?

    only $1000 trade...

LOL - looks like our friend HARTJED is trying to short this stock and cause some panic because he's getting desperate. Sorry Hartjed you picked the wrong stock to short and now you're stuck with a lot of short shares and nobody to buy them back from.

    Say farewell to your $$$!

I told you guys - acummulate, accumulate, accumulate... Thats what the big boys are doing with this stock. If you dont believe me check out the insiders for MDW.

I'd love to see some of you bashers knock this thing down again so I can pick up more shares in the low .40s

If you sell will it go up? j/k

This is a time to keep accumulating - dont buy all this stock at one time. Just keep buying over time to average in while it is low. This is one of the few gold/silver stocks that have over 1/3 insider ownership - they are still buying and so am I. When/If this thing pops its going to be too late to accumulate then - so get it now.

  • sandspiderbm by sandspiderbm May 26, 2009 4:15 PM Flag

A 200,000 share purchase - not sure why the sudden drop at close today but i'll be picking up some tomorrow at .42 if I can.

  • sandspiderbm by sandspiderbm May 21, 2009 12:56 PM Flag

Looks like our friend Hartjed is about to buy back a ton of his shorted shares at a much higher price - lets watch this puppy run!

  • sandspiderbm by sandspiderbm May 20, 2009 2:31 PM Flag

Be patient with this stock - i've said this numerous times: Accumulate now while its under the radar and wait for the bigger fish to bite. This thing has high insider ownership, gold/silver properties in Nevada, and a decent balance sheet for the next 12 months. Plus they have a partnership with ABX - if drill results go well this thing can easily double AND STILL BE CHEAP. Be patient and accumulate.

I dont think its manipulation - I think its more traders getting impatient. With small stocks like these, they are off the radar until major news announcements or a foray by hedge funds pumps up volume and gets it noticed by other funds. So the key with these low stocks is to accumulate while they have attractive valuations and just wait - I did that with Richmont Mines (RIC) in the low $1-1.50 range and now its trading close to $4.

Again, with this stock it is very cheap with high insider ownership AND a partnership with ABX. The key now is the drill results - if they come back positive you'll see a lot more action in this stock.

Kinda stupid move to short this low volume stock that has heavy insider AND Barrick ownership. I urge you to send it down on so I can pick up some at .42

  • sandspiderbm by sandspiderbm May 18, 2009 11:17 AM Flag

150K and up on a down silver/gold day. I think some hedge funds may be realizing how undervalued this stock is. The most positive news that i've seen was in the recently issued report - they are funded throughout the rest of the year so there is very little risk of dilution

    Buy while you can.

  • Check out the latest press release:

A possible update of the historic resource at the Gold Rock project, near Pan is also being considered. Two drills, funded by the partner, are currently working on the Spring Valley joint venture. The Company is fully funded to complete these plans through the end of the year.

Good news because since they are fully funded throughout the year dilution is doubtful - now we wait for drill results. If they are good this stock will easily take out its old $2 highs.

You also gotta like that this is one of the few PM companies that have high insider ownership - most miners dont.

Time for responsible accumulation and patience,

    Position: Long MDW

Is anyone else concerned that there was a really vague outlook given? No mention of production or profits... Am I missing something?

Patience - they have a great deal with ABX. Whats wrong with this stock is that very few people track it, but insiders are buying it and have been buying it. George Hawes just exercised warrants to buy 2.2 million shares @ 28 cents a few days ago. Yes I know there is a discount there, but he didnt sell any of the shares and currently owns over 8 million shares now.

I just bought a few thousand more shares earlier today at .46. Be patient and accumulate before people start noticing.

    $150 BILLION in debt!

    by sandspiderbm Apr 24, 2009 11:09 AM
sandspiderbm sandspiderbm Apr 24, 2009 11:24 AM Flag

    Yahoo shows the following:

    Cash & equivalents: $22 Billion
    Receivables: $6 Billion
    Investments: $112 Billion
    TOTAL: $140 Billion

    Accounts Payable: $78 Billion
    LT Debt: $154 Billion
    Other LT Liabilities: $2 Billion
    TOTAL: $234 Billion

Thats still a NET DEFICIT of $94 Billion with the assumption that all their investments are safe and they have no exposure to bad investments. Doesnt sound too healthy to me.

  • sandspiderbm by sandspiderbm Apr 24, 2009 11:09 AM Flag

Is this true??? So wait the company is NOT making a profit, has $21 billion in cash and almost 8 times that in debt ($150 billion)??????

How exactly are they going to pay it off or lower it to a reasonable level? $150 billion means approximately a $7.5 billion dollars a year in INTEREST (excluding principal) and a 5% rate is generous for Ford debt (it should be higher). Thats 1/3 of SALES!!!! 1/3 of sales goes to pay off interest - I dont think thats a sustainable business model.

There is no way this company can get out of this without bankruptcy or government help.

Any thoughts on how they can survive with such a massive debt load?

Disclosure - i'm neither long or short Ford. I dont own a position.
