Well I know you're not Jeye or Mallen and I know I am not Mallen so you are someone who feels they have to defend Jeye. I ask you, what did Mallen do to you to get you to hate him so much? Jeye is just a buffoon, a punching bag, a fool that lacks basic grammar and spelling ability. Yet you defend him bitterly. The only OCD person I know here is greenteacup aka persie so it could be you. Sorry I guess you are obsessed with this message board for you may be a lonely guy and this is all you have. I guess you like to keep ruining this board by defending jeye so be it, this will never end until he stops posting his taunts his racial slurs his lies......
I see box has now become cashloss, what a loser. His uaw boyfriend must laugh at his antics as he cornholes him.
Nevertheless the Volt is an expensive project period. I hope they can bring down costs a little and make it work and sell more. Then the technology can be used in perhaps an Imapala or small SUV, mainstreaming it may get costs down a lot faster. It is a magnificent piece of engineering but at a seriously high cost. Imagine if GM could inexpensively retrofit an existing vehicle with Volt technology and bring the cost way down and that would bring in a lot of customers.
I understand your many points but the Volt is a complicated piece of electro-machanical wizardry and computers and sensors and wiring and other related components could become a costly maintencae/repair item. Imagine having drivability problems with a Volt, it's just not fuel and spark anymore like a ICE. I prefer to buy slightly used vehicles and I would be very concerned to lay money down on a used Volt until long term ( 100K+) vehicles exhibited no serious issues. I have seen a disaassembled Volt at a car show and it is a very complicated piece of engineering, this gives consumers concerns when purchasing such a vehicle.
I wonder how long the Volt will hold up after long term everyday use. Maintenance on the Volt will be far costlier than a Cruze in the long term. Where's the real savings?
"The Americans that took the risk",,,,the American Taxpayer and they have lost a ton on keeping the GM boat afloat. Obama needs votes so he went out of his way to keep the UAW alive.
I love having my face shoved into the Venza floormats as my date works away on me. So what. I love the UAW more than him.
