It looks like I made another good call. We cracked $4.00 for the first time in months yesterday. I still think the best is yet to come though.

Also look at the MF article :You May Not Want to Hear It, but the Microsoft-Nokia Deal IS Working.
"So it's not surprising the Microsoft naysayers were out in force expressing their displeasure when it teamed up with struggling Nokia (NYSE: NOK ) to dive into the high-end smartphone market. Take on Apple? Samsung? Insanity. Thing is, with each passing quarter, the news for both Nokia and Microsoft keeps getting better, in spite of what some would have you believe."

Last quarter was the bottom in terms of revenues. It was the first quarter without Symbian and also a traditionally slow quarter. It can only go up from here.
Nokia is grabbing 80% of windows phone sales.
According to the new Kantar research, Windows phone sales have nearly doubled in Europe Q over Q and have gone from 3.8 to 5.6% in the US.
WP Facebook use is up 63% from March to May
Verizon's WP share has increased 3400% Q over Q !!!!
Advertising is increasing.
Expenses have been cut. Revenues will be up. I expect very strong guidance going into the back to school and Christmas seasons. And Remember, Elop has only failed to beat earnings once and that was right after he took over.
The market is being very slow to catch on to this. NOK is a bargain right now. I'm expecting $10 by the end of the year.

Thanks Captain Obvious!
That's what this stock does. Be patient and you'll be okay.
Its a combination of 1) Being heavily shorted 2) Short term traders who ride the very predictable ups and downs of the stock 3) Longs who panic when the stock drops because they lost a lot in the past at $125.00 and 4) Stop loss orders kicking in.
I've seen it do this before and it always goes back up.

If Q2 earnings are a blowout (and I expect them to be. This is what they've been building towards) the price will skyrocket.
If Q2 earnings are bad, Elop will be out of a job and the price will skyrocket. This quarter is do or die for Elop.
Either way. the price skyrockets. You should be buying these dips.

They are advertising like crazy on some of the most popular shows. Everyone seems to be pretty much in agreement that NOK has claimed the #3 spot. AAPL is having some serious problems. And the price action of the stock looks very strong.

"what happened to it??? "
I haven't owned very long but this is what I've learned:
Revenues dropped from 20 M in 2011 to 894k in 2012. The drop in revenue hurt the company and it looked they were going bankrupt. They (apparently) flooded the market with shares in a last ditch effort to save the company. The drop in revenue combined with the extra shares caused the price to plummet which caused a de-listing from NASDAQ which caused it to drop further. Why did revenues initially drop? I don't know. The CEO called 2012 "a year of transition" and referred to the "adversity and "challenges" but its not clear to me what caused the initial drop.
That being said, revenues quadrupled in the last quarter and the company is cutting costs by nearly 1 million by closing the El Segundo headquarters and moving. Also, the CEO said that they expect the Italy revenues to reach 50 million in the near future and also further new opportunities in India and the US.
It looks to me that the worst is behind the company. The main thing holding the price down now is the fact that current liabilities are significantly higher than current assets. If they can get through the next year the price should skyrocket. And it looks to me that they will based on what the CEO said about future revenues.

Nokia reminds me of the Dallas Cowboys circa 1990. The rebuild has started and the key pieces are in place but the doubters just don't see it yet and won't for another couple of years.

You realize could go to jail for these posts right? Spreading false rumors is illegal and earnings haven't been announced yet- I'm waiting on the conference call right now.
You better hope no one makes the SEC aware of what you're doing.

They've already said Q1 revenues will be higher than all of 2012 combined.
Its a turn around company like Nokia with ENORMOUS potential. A 3 cent move = double your money.
