Mr.milker why are you so mean to people? You seem to be the expert on everything. How can you sleep at night judging everybody? Mostly in a negative vein. Between you and tiger, you both are a hoot.
Oooops, our lights were getting dim, our battery power was giving up. We already had put our refrigerator onto propane so we were O.K. there. Our nice neighbor who is from Texas and on his way to California for the winter, had allowed us to plug into his unit off of his generator. This is not only letting us use our lights but it is recharging our two batteries. I'm going to buy a gallon of gas for him. His wife is baking cookies for the people that show up for our bon fire. Found two more broken pallets that we can burn. We were able to use our 30 cup coffee maker and give coffee to people that want it. The lady gave us some coffee cups out of the snack bar. We are short of chairs so bring your own. WMT has put their lawn chairs away for the winter so we can't borrow any from them...
Wow....Those figures really scare me....I'm putting a sign on my RV to sell it before Obama taxes me out of it!
There are over a hundred rigs that I saw shut down and I was only in a small area. North Sea has been depleting its self for years.
We had some 30 people that joined in on singing Christmas Carols. We found a Christmas tree with two broken limbs that WMT threw in the dumpster. We dug it out and cleaned it up a bit. Another RVer pulled in beside us and he has a generator. We are going to stay another night and hang the several strings of lights that people returned, most of them won't work, guess they were made in China, but with the popcorn we had left over that we can string along with the lights, it should be great. Somebody left us a Fruitcake last night. It will make a great door stop.
Good idea pep, I have a case of beer that is chilling down right now....There are shopping carts all over this lot, won't be hard to borrow one or two. One year we used one for a emergency BBQ. Just put some foil on the bottom shelf and bottom basket became the grill. Worked just fine.
Mr.milker, your post did not appear? Hope you didn't try to dock one of those Container ships in the parking lot. That might make the manager a little un happy. He is pretty nice, has been out twice to talk to us and see if he can do anything for us.
Lighten up people, don't be so serious, join our fun. I found a couple of broken pallets out in back of WMT. Will break them up and we can have a little bon fire in the grill tonight. We can sing some Christmas carols. Bring a warm coat it could get chilly. The security guard that drives around in the three wheeler helped me drag one of the trash barrels over so nobody will leave a mess. Dug five Poinsettia's out of the Dumpster that looked pretty bad. A little water brought them back somewhat and they look nice in front of our rig. If I could find an outside plug I'd hook up some Xmas lights we found, expect quite a few won't light up though.
You three pumpers are a hoot. Not one of you have posted on the DRYS board. None of the drys are considered good investments at this time.
Low gas prices will put thousands out of work, not good for our economy.
I posted the above on 12/11. The figures are now out that November was the largest month for the auto industry. Interesting to note here. The leaders were trucks and SUV's, the gas guzzlers win, so what is going on with the economy!
If you guys will bring the steaks over, we can throw them on the grill before I take it back to the display. The taste will tell which were best. Mr. milker, since I'm parked I'm not polluting anything, you can come too but this lot is not big enough to hold one of those Container Ships. Shep, you can tell us how you make so much money, I need a new truck and maybe you can give me some tips...
Wal-Mart still remains the great host they are. We pulled our 5th Wheel into their parking lot. Found a nice place close to a security light and close to the Garden Dept. Didn't take us long to set up at all. One of the BBQ grills was not chained up so we dragged it over to try it out. Put some foil in bottom so it wouldn't leave any grease or charcoal mess. Didn't look to see if this grill was made in China, I think not as this brand has been around a long time. The hot dogs and buns were cheaper at Safeway but we purchased the charcoal at WMT. We borrowed a length of garden hose from their Garden Dept and with our 75' we were able to fill our fresh water tank. We used their rest rooms several times and they were clean each time. If they only would put showers in them it would be great. WMT should start a RV club for us to see how many different Wal-Marts people stayed in. They could give us little stickers for each location.
Merry Christmas everyone and we will see you down the road........
Wouldn't that mean those ships return to China from America ...........empty
I've read they return 85% empty....
pollutes as much as 50 million cars each year.....
In other words you propose that we take 50 Million cars off the highways for a year so that will equal one of these cargo ships!
sold them as donkey meat
phil, would tiger meat be alright too!
