    2015 dividends

Yes it is ...rest assured 2015 dividend will not be cut...stock bottoms at 42 if it tanks...

  • See You Later Alligator. After successful drilling campaigns in Brazil both
the Noble Paul Wolff and the Noble Max Smith have been loaded onto the
Dockwise Vessel Vanguard for transit to SE Asia. Yes, both floaters have
been loaded on the same heavy lift vessel for the voyage. This undoubtedly
lowers the cost of mobilizing these vessels from Brazil to SE Asia.

  • Back up the truck at this level if you see it..technically the stock has broken down and continues to act weak...at 22 it is washed out...wait and watch ...load up around this price point...ESV is a buy at 42 also.. the whole sector is being sold by scam street..

I am saying at this stage and at this level..if you are an investor in NE stay married...otherwise if you see capitulation ( stock closes flat to slightly down on huge volume ) then you can do a quick trade. The stock has technical damage and will take time to repair itself ..but fundamentally the stock will give you very good returns in 15-18 months if you have patience...so the concept of staying 'married'...

Some Short-Term Floater Work in GoM Better
    Than Nothing
    ■ Adjusting Earnings. We are decreasing our 2014/2015 EPS estimates to
    $5.76/$5.44 (from $5.84/$5.60). Our 2014/2015 estimates are 2%/5% below
    Consensus.
    ■ Fight for Employment in the GoM. The 8501 was fixed in the low $350ks
for a one-well job and the 8503 was fixed for three-wells in the low $350ks.
The rates are about 10% higher than a recent 6G floater fixture in the GoM –
however contract duration was shorter with the 8501 off contract in January
2015 and the 8503 off contract in February 2015 versus the 6G floater off
contract in May. Utilization matters in this market and both these rigs are
already looking for their next meal.
    ■ Downtime. We estimate 1,329 downtime days in 2015 – 933 DW days and
396 #$%$ days. For the end of 2014 we are estimating 531 days primarily due
to buffer days between contracts (we are expecting these rigs to have
    increased downtime) and maintenance.
    ■ Welcome to the N Sea. #$%$ Ensco 122 is undergoing acceptance testing
and is contracted with NAM in the North Sea starting Q4 until Q4 2016 –
fixed low $240s (including $10M MOB fees). The High Spec #$%$ is upgraded
to include the Canti-Leverage Advantage technology which allows more
wells to be drilled in a location – added cost savings for customers

stock and the sector needs capitulation...a huge volume down day and has to look washed out before you add to your position. Balance sheet, cash flows, daily rates, utilization rates, secured dividends..all contribute to a 12-18 month rebound. Kick em when they are down but they do recover...and one day wall st. will be back pushing them and in love with them... if you are an investor..stay married..if you are a trader...just date and move on as they say..

    Mgt. now has to outperform

My 2000 or your 5000 shares mean nothing...you really think that shareholders 'own' the company? smell the coffee my friend...please...the mgt. and board stroke each other...your proxies and protests mean nothing.. class action will give you a buck a share less attorney fees...it has to be some activists juice or a huge hedge fund of sorts that can request board seats and try and shake up the company...bottom line... they walked away from a deal...because of valuation demands on the cash portion... pressure to deliver the numbers now? yes of course...if they deliver the numbers next qtr. ..stock is back in high 30's to low 40's..

  • Drillers will not bottom until 4th qtr 2015. Meanwhile, look for yield support since dividends are secure imo. NE balance sheet looks clean...rigs are being put to work albeit at lower rates...wall street bears have to hammer this sector down till the retail holders cave in, breakdown and liquidate...if you have patience..NE should pay off...I own it and will add more but waiting for the selling climax...and total capitulation...

Bottom for the sector is 12-15 months away before the analysts start raising estimates and the day rates stabilze. The good news that rigs are being put to work at lower rates and not idling...ESV just signed on one more this week though at a lower rate...target for ESV is 55 in the short run..let the sector get washed out ..it will come back in favor in rotation...

Attractive Valuation. Rackspace currently trades at a 2015 EV/EBITDA
multiple of 6.4x, which is a significant discount to the datacenter colocation
average of 10.5x. However, Rackspace's EBITDA is forecast to grow 17% in
2015, well above the datacenter colocation peer group average of 10%.
Therefore, we view the current sell-off as a buying opportunity, and reiterate our
Outperform rating and price target of $40

Maybe the cash portion was 40 and the rest in dilutive equity with handcuffs which the mgt. did not want...ctl would have had to cut dividend and leverage the balance sheet heavily to buy RAX at 53 which is the price I keep hearing that RAX insisted on...now we have to wait until mgt. delivers and pacifies the activists...

  • RAX Ends Evaluation of M&A, Plans to Remain Independent & Names Taylor
Rhodes as New CEO: RAX stock is trading down to ~$33 in aftermarket trading,
primarily on Tuesday's press release and webcast which broke the news to
investors. On the call, management was bullish that demand remains strong
and margins could improve as early as 4Q14, but the lack of a near-term stock
repurchase plan was a concern. Management's reasoning was to avoid taking on
debt and to leave options open for additional investment. : While we believe
CTL would have been a good fit given its recent pivot toward cloud services, we
think RAX was unwilling to accept CTL equity to get the takeout price near its $50
target. Regardless, RAX is attractive at $33 or 6.5x 2015E EBITDA, and we don't
rule out the possibility of M&A down the road.

they wanted higher cash portion on the deal and nothing less then 50-52/share...offers with cash portion have come in the low 40's/share and rest in equity...no go for now..but a sweetened offer in the making? liars poker? activist shareholder ? I do not think this is over yet...

liars poker...opening for an activist...and or a sweetened offer in the works...otherwise mgt. has to prove itself and face the wrath of the shareholders...

When the company is firm on a price of no less then $50/share...and the potential buyers have to leverage their balance sheet which negatively impacts their ratings...it was a cash and equity offer that has been rejected..since RAX insisted on a higher cash portion then what was offered...so for now it is closed but it is liars poker and also an opening for an activist shareholder to step in...all you have to do is sit back and watch..emotional selloffs always provide more opportunities...

  • Not all cash deal anymore... for a higher valuation RAX will have to accept equity. Cash portion will be up to $43-45/share and $5+ in equity of the acquiring entity....

On the charts ESV has broken down and could test 42 which it touched back in 2012. BUT at that level it would be way oversold and I would add to my position...
