Important Tea Party principles like don't pay your bills any better than a George W. Bust total JOKE oil company ever did?

While U.S. Rep. Tom Graves was calling for fiscal responsibility in Washington his attorney was arguing in a lawsuit that a North Georgia bank is at fault for issuing Graves a $2.2 million loan the bank knew he could not repay.

Graves was fighting a lawsuit along with business partner Chip Rogers, the state Senate majority leader. The two Republicans, through a limited-liability company, used the loan to purchase and renovate a Calhoun motel that quickly went under.

The bank sued, alleging the two defaulted on the loan. The politicians filed counterclaims against the bank, accusing it of improperly declaring the loan in default after reneging on a promise to refinance it at more favorable terms. Both parties dismissed their claims Wednesday, a day before they were scheduled to attend a hearing on the case in Calhoun. Graves said through a spokesman that the case has been “fully resolved in an equitable and fair manner.” An attorney for the bank declined to comment.

Far from being an undecided voter carefully weighing the issues, Samuel Joe Wurzelbacher was a registered Republican who had voted in the party’s primaries. Most scandalously of all, he owed more than $1,000 to the state of Ohio in unpaid property taxes – hardly the conscientious grafter held up to the nation as an example of how Barack Obama’s tax plan would shatter the American dream.

Even the very claim which elevated him to national prominence was debunked. The plumbing company he planned to buy wasn't making the $250,000 that would see his taxes increase under Mr Obama – in fact it was making roughly half that. Joe himself was earning some $40,000 a year – a sum which would instead make him eligible for substantial tax cuts under the Democratic plan.

It turns out that O’Donnell is a deadbeat. She stopped paying her mortgage in October of 2007 while the bank filed the papers in March of 2008 to seize the house. She refused to contest the case and a summary judgment of foreclosure was entered against the property in May. According to a Lexis-Nexis search, the foreclosure was “stayed” – the house had been foreclosed but the sheriff sale had not commenced – when she sold the house to her boyfriend and legal counsel who then paid the outstanding balance as well as more than $2,000 in interest and legal fees.

Amazing the the cokehead con man George W. Bust trained all his life to loot the FICA Trust Find; starting as far back as 1986 under his TX chiseler guru guru Ken Lay at Enron. Stole two elections to get his greasy mitts on all that money, but barely even made a scratch on the door despite two serious attempts; mostly because Bush was such a wall-to-wall economic failure and by 2005 everybody knew he was ten pounds of $nit in a five pound bag . (Except for a handful of totally clueless neoCONNED a$$clowns posting here anyway?)

Nevertheless a bunch of racist inbreeds with ZERO job skills decided en masse that they are now entitled to "disability" just because a black man landed in the White House. POOF- now they have torched through the whole Disability trust fund in barely seven years!!

And the Koch Party "solution" is to let them stay "disabled" because they are obviously way too STUPID to ever make a living anyway; the way they voted for Palin so quickly proves that much in spades! And now feed off the SSI withholdings of people who have paid in hundreds of times as much as the red state welfare slugs ever did over the course of their adult lives, of course!

"Paid-to-fail" is a very cherished concept withing the G.O.P. just look at the Governor of Wisconsin for example?

Letting all the toothless neoCONNED Apes on "disability" get at the big trust fund would be much much worse than crop subsidies and Federal Flood Insurance in terms of rewarding all the shameless welfare parasite states for their terrible school systems, one industry economies and nation leading teenage pregnancy rates.

The Koch Party full employment solution is to send you off to the Middle East so you can get your legs blown off fighting for the Saudis under false pretenses. Then they will gut VA funding before you make it back here too.

The only jobs that they have "created" in my adult lifetime is snow jobs.

Then you have about five years before you're counting in Samsung or Lenovo. Not good news IMO? That might be the greasiest deal that Carly or Meg ever pulled off.

Eastman Kodak had an extremely solvent pension fund but they still figured out how to shaft everybody who had retired after 1994 and the spouses of those who had earlier and elected to defer as much as possible to their survivors.. If your medical is being handled the same way then you just might have a change of heart about ObamaCare someday too!

How on earth did the Enron-owned Ape Man Rick Perry ever get that far behind the eight ball when crude oil still cost $115 a barrel? He had to WORK at it and if the stimulus hadn't come along then the vaunted Texas "rainy day fund" would have been bone dry.

In 2012 he told the high school dropout electorate down there that the TX budget was balanced. Five weeks later the legislature said they were at least $25 Billion short.

Pretty sure about the "pass the costs along" side springy. Cooking the books and conning ignorant goobers are ALL that dishonest Republican sleazeballs are any good at.

That's why they have a monopoly so far on "too big to fail" phase too!

Their "Plan A" was always to invade the place and pass the staggering costs along to the next Administration. (Just like the last time around...)

False pretenses optional by that point in time, of course!
WASHINGTON (AFP) – WikiLeaks on Sunday unleashed a torrent of US cables detailing a wide array of potentially explosive diplomatic episodes, from a tense nuclear standoff with Pakistan to Saudi Arabia's king repeatedly suggesting bombing Iran, the New York Times reported.

The cables describe the bazaar-like bargaining over the repatriation of Guantanamo Bay detainees, a Chinese government bid to hack into Google, and quote Saudi King Abdullah as saying the United States should strike Iran to halt its nuclear program, telling it to "cut off the head of the snake."

Yessir boys and girls. Before Koch Party icon Ronald Reagan was an amoral slimeball who sold Three Millions Dollars worth of CRACK every day right out of the West Wing (while his wife passed out "Just Say NO" T-Shirts, no less:) well he was a (gasp) Union Leader too!
    Reagan Administration admits Contra-cocaine connections

On April 17, 1986, the Reagan Administration released a three page report acknowledging that there were some Contra-cocaine connections in 1984 and 1985, arguing that these connections occurred at a time when the rebels were "particularly hard pressed for financial support" because U.S. aid had been cut off. The report admitted that "We have evidence of a limited number of incidents in which known drug traffickers have tried to establish connections with Nicaraguan resistance groups." The report tried to downplay the drug activity, claiming that it took place "without the authorization of resistance leaders."[

Investigations into Lt. Col North's involvement have not been limited to the United States. One notable example is the second report of the Costa Rican Legislative Assembly's Commission on Narcotics Trafficking, which examined the explosion of cocaine trafficking in that country during the 1980s. After studying the involvement of Contras and U.S. officials with illegal arms running and drug trafficking, the commission recommended that former ambassador Lewis Tambs, CIA station chief Joseph F. Fernandez, and Lt. Col. Oliver North be forever denied entry in Costa Rica, a recommendation adopted by Costa Rican President Oscar Arias.[11]

Carter's sister "converting" Larry Flynt has to be my favorite episode. Chester the Molester (yes there was indeed a comic strip of that name in a major print publication,) became "Chester the Protector."

I missed the part where you try to say that you DIDN'T vote for a common street corner TX grifter with all the personal and business ethics of a fungus out of gross ignorance and that it DIDN'T set the country back 25 years and at least $10 Trillion dollars?

As long as you don't mind living in a tent after he fleeced you out of your entire retirement!
Take John Robbins. When the retired Army officer heard Trump, in a music-filled tent, talk of putting up the tallest building in Tampa, Fla., he wanted in—“because of the Trump name.” But Robbins lost half his $150,000 down payment when the condo project went bankrupt and was “floored” to learn that Trump had merely licensed his gold-plated moniker: “I just don’t see Trump fitting the role of commander in chief. Somebody has to stand up to Mr. Trump.”

Hamed Hoshyarsar invested $54,000 in a condo at the Trump Ocean Resort Baja for one reason: he was a fan of The Apprentice. He lost every dime when the project was never built. “I want to throw up every time I see him,” says the Los Angeles accountant. “I see all these people talking about him being president, and I would never vote for that guy.”
Donald Trump Sued Over Mexican Resort That Was Never Built
    The Wrap | Apr. 18, 2011, 8:12 PM |

“Celebrity Apprentice” star and presumed presidential candidate Donald Trump is being sued over failed plans to build a resort with his name on it, according to court documents obtained by TheWrap.

Robert Briggs filed suit against the Donald -- along with his son, Donald Jr. and daughter Ivanka -- in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday. Briggs claims that he was duped into investing in Trump Ocean Resort Baja, a proposed vacation facility in Baja California, Mexico, that was never built, based on the false impression that Trump was an investor in the resort.

According to Briggs, the plans for the resort went belly-up in December 2008 -- and when the developers informed him that the project had failed, he discovered that not only had his investment money been withdrawn for purposes other than the project, but Trump had merely licensed his name to the project.
