    Division of profits.

Upper mgt of every corp is in bed with the B of D's. Think about. Who appoints the CEO? Who recommends member to the B of D's? Usually these people have enough stock and influence to swing any election. It is time for stock holders of every corp to wake up to this collusion supporting arrangement.
I believe mgt deserves a GOOD salary and bonus. Bonus should be tied to common stock, not to profit. Shareholders of every corp needs to wake up. Share holders should have an equal position in the sharing of profits. (CEO and B of D's divvy up the profits, not right.)

  • scarbrobill by scarbrobill Apr 17, 2014 8:24 AM Flag

Common stock holders are supposedly the owners of a corporation.
When a corporation's profits come in how are they divided? It appears that upper mgt gets the biggest share followed by the B of D's. Lower class employees get a trickling of the profits. The share holders are at the bottom of the ladder in sharing of the wealth, usually getting none..
I agree that mgt is responsible for the well being of the company, but I do not agree that they deserve such outrageous increases is salary and benefits over all others. CEO and others with million plus dollars yearly income, no way. Just my opinion.

When I said "only idiots' I mean people that do not have good sense. Being educated, you mean people that have gone to college, you assume they know what they are talking about.. Going to college and getting a degree does not necessarily mean you have good sense. Some of the stupidest people I know have advanced degrees. And the people that believe gov't mandated wages is smart and good, I do believe they are 'idiots'. 1935 U. S. Supreme court ruled MW is legal but not smart. Almost 80 years and politicians are still not smart.
Thinkj about it. I seriously doubt there is anyone from the president to congress to state house reps know how much any private employer can pay his employees. Obama knows how much he can pay gov't employees, all he has to do is have taxes increased to cover wages. JMHO

  • scarbrobill scarbrobill Apr 16, 2014 3:43 PM Flag

no_compro. Whoa. No where in my statement is there any speck of racism unless you translate the word obama to mean black which I didn't until you defined it.. Shame on you. I thought you wanted a raise of $2.85/hour..
Only idiots believe that gov't mandating wages is good for anyone. Keep gov't out of the private sector. JMHO

  • Minimum wage is going to go up $2.85/hr. This means everyone gets a big raise. If we don't get it is not fair. Obama and congress are mandating this WOW. What say you about a nice raise? JMHO......

Who gives a #$%$ about what it was during Carters or Reagans time. We only give a #$%$ about what is going on to day.
Inflation is measured from where you stand and how you compute it. Gov't computes it with the cost of about 250 different items. And the # they get is correct for that computation and gov't, but for the middle to lower income class of people the # of items that most of their money is spent on is about 5 items: Food, clothing, shelter, gas, utilities,.... Inflation for this group is closer to 15%, not the 1.5% the gov't computes. JMO

On financial news channel. The interest on the federal debt is: $854,000,0000 a day. Shocking.
    Gov't collects $5 billion dollars a day and SPENDS/wastes $11 billion dollars a day.
No one, gov't or business can continue operating like this very long. Our great, great, great grandchildren will still be trying to pay this debt.
There is a simple way though. Just raise the MW to 1,000 per hour. Gov't can collect 10 zillion dollars in taxes and pay off the debt with super inflated dollars. So a gallon of milk would cost $500. MO

This confrontation between the cowboys and the gov't is a great case of TO MANY RULES, REGULATIONS & LAWS. Our gov't has passed so many of these, about 60,000 new ones in the past 6 months taking away our rights and liberties. I'll bet a dollar to a donut that somewhere across our great country, if you "burp" outside of your house you break a law. Shame, shame and shame. JMO........

NO raises for fixed income people !!!!

Your words try to justify raising minimum wage to $10.10/hr A 40% increase for MW and a 1.4% for fixed income people, this ain't fair./ This simply drives those on fixed incomes closer to starvation. In the winter for many of them it is heat or eat.
    This liberal gov't "ain't fair". JMHO. .

I understand it really came to a head when the EPA got involved that the land turtle just might get stepped on. At the present the EPA law is the worst law congress passed in the last 50 years. Yes, EPA was great for 6 to 12 months but they push now for their existence, not the good of the country. I understand from a local contractor that is putting in a sewer line it must be inspect by the foot and 1 requirement it must be safe enough if a Brazilian creature happened to fall in. Brazil in 10 thousand miles away. JMHO.

I think what you are saying is those that are on the CO2 band wagon are 'idiots'. Or . . . .

  • Fair ain't Fair. Obama and legislators are mandating a 40% increase for low income people but refuse to even mention all of the poor seniors that are on a fixed income. This act of gov't, mandating wages, drives many seniors into abject poverty.
Raising the minimum wage increases the cost of all goods and services and fixed income people get no help or even consideration. Just my opinion of gov't and how it affects seniors..

CBO says if the MW is raised to $10.10/hour the country will lose upwards to 1,500,000 jobs and many small businesses will be forced to close. How can idiot congressmen and state legislators raise the wage in the face of so many losing their job.? Oh, I know, these 1.5 million people will not have to work and will not be deprived of a good living because they will all be eligible for welfare. Glory be. What a shame.

I believe when BO changed any part of the ACA it was a constitutional violation. Actually if BO was a good leader, he preached that the ACA was not a tax. The US Supreme Court ruled ACA is legal because it is a tax. At this point a good leader would have sent it back to congress and fixed it so it was not a tax. Just my opinion....

What the Obama administration does not understand is who/what creates wealth. This administration is all agog at jobs created, but the majority of them do not create any wealth.
Think about it. Most Wealth is created in: Food, commodities and manufacturing. All of the other jobs live off of these 3. The idiot gov't and unions are guilty of driving the majority of manufacturing jobs overseas by the idiotic rules, regulations, laws and union demands of high wages and the gov't with their mandated 'we need' wages.
Thank goodness we still produce a lot of food and commodities. Drive these away and we become a pauper state. Now you think about it. We must start electing 'patriots' instead of egotists, idiots, crooks and perverts. Just my opinion.

    The "we need" wage ?????

scarbrobill scarbrobill Apr 6, 2014 2:02 PM Flag

You are correct, MW began under FDR. In 1935 US Supreme Court ruled MW was legal, but not smart. Today's Idiot politicians still can't understand why it is not smart.
Why it isn't smart is because the idiot politicians that pass/raise MW have absolutely no idea what any employer can pay. They and unions now call it the 'we need' wage.
Wages paid by any employer are not paid to its employees by 'we need' wages. Wages must be paid with respect to productivity. MO
