I fear our president that is supposed to be the instrument to bring the country together his acts seems to be dividing rather than unifying.
I fear 2 more years of dividing and the "Good old U. S. A." just might be gone. A shame and a shame and a shame. mo.
Another thing that does not make sense is he seems to think more of illegal aliens than he does citizens. MO again.

If we Cut Taxes, but don't Cut Spending

Let's hope the GOP has enough sense to eliminate the programs that just waste money. Try USPO, EPA, foreign aid (Iran, Russia, N. Korea, Saudi Arabia, et al) etc, etc and etc.
Spend a dollar and get something for it. This is the secret.

Since Charlie is chomping at the bit to enter the wireless world, there just may be under the table a union between S and DISH. Satellite TV growth has just about been saturated.
Charlie MUST seek other avenues to make another zillion. He must do something with the zillion dollars worth of spectrum that he own. That sitting idle is costing him a bundle. He will be moving in the near future. I just hope I will be able cash in on his move.

Just looking at the 100,000+ new rules, regulations and laws the gov't passed in the past 12 months we are just about slaves to this gov't. Remember each time a rule, regulation or law is passed the gov't nibbles away some of our civil rights.
What is sad we vote for reps to have our rights taken away and we will even vote on a bill to take them away. Just look a little: our reps wont let us drink a big soda; pay taxes for things we do not support; schools force our kids to eat what the school/gov't wants; we vote to make gov't raise wages and lose jobs; you can't do . . . . etc & etc.. It is a shame.

The way her facial wrinkles look she wont last long enough to be on the ticket Nov '15. Poor thing in the last two years has really aged. JMO.

  • Businesses must make a profit. Think. Let's assume a company must make a 5% profit to stay in business. At the present let's say they do a $1000.worth of business. At the 5% profit margin, they make $50. Let us assume that the rules, regulations, laws, minimum wage & unions raises the cost of the business from $1,000 to $1,500. At the 5% rate the company now earns $75. ,.
The bottom workers are making more dollars and so is the top. Actually both top and bottom get more dollars. But can they buy more?
The higher the bottom price goes the more dollars the top level get.

To eliminate poverty and help the gov't pay off its debt the minimum wage should be raised to at least $50/hr. Peoples standard of living would jump over night. No more living in run down shacks, etc. Just think how much the gov't would be able to collect in taxes. Gov't could start making big payments to reduce the debt. Illegals need their standard of living raised also.

  • poverty as politicians state? Let us look back at history about 80 years. Politicians have said minimum wage will eliminate poverty back then.. Since it started the gov't has raised the minimum wage at least 12 times and each time they promised no worker will live in poverty. Each time it has been raised the number living in poverty has increased. Today the number of Americans living in poverty is about the highest it has ever been, about 100,000,000. So what I see the politicians are all wrong. I do not believe what the gov't is doing is helping solve the poverty problem, but they are making the poverty problem worse...
It is time the politicians get their heads together and work out ways to increase jobs and not increase the benefits of welfare. A few politicians have been able to see the light that reducing rules, regulation, laws and union powers will increase jobs..
Time for the citizens to realize the facts.

As a democrat I am more disgusted with almost all democrat candidates, in and running, since Jimmy and his right wing advisors that gave Iran to the radicals and had interest on loans at 19+%.
The country today is in bad shape for the majority of Americans. We are getting ready to get in worse shape with the idiots raising minimum wage hoping it will get people out of poverty.
If raising MW gets people out of poverty why do we have people in poverty today. MW started about 1935 and has been raised a little about every 5 years. If raising MW did keep people out of poverty there should not be any one in poverty today. Idiots are not good at thinking for them selves. AJMHO.

Why should you care? It was unnecessary for TC to give a CEO address on his sexual behavior....

Stupid thinking from stupid people. Wages are an agreement between labor and mgt. If you accept a job on day one at an agreed wage, why should the gov't get involved and demand the company pay everyone the same thing???????. One of my last jobs, the women were paid more than some of the men. It is TIME TO GET GOV'T OUT OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR. It is just my opinion. Makes sense to me.

After the mid-Nov auction of spectrum, I expect to see a lot of movement in the M & A activity in the wireless sector.. Just what???????

  • scarbrobill scarbrobill Oct 22, 2014 11:27 AM Flag

This is what happens when your borders and politicians are open to allowing undesirables into your country. Radicals breed radicals.

  • The president has been taking credit for the stock mkt going up, therefore he is also responsible for the stock mkt going down. WHAT IN THE WORLD DID HE DO TO DRIVE THE MKT DOWN?????? Did he create the EBOLA virus; the turmoil in the middle east; bad weather; Iran's a-bomb, Russia's invasion of its neighbor; etc etc and etc. mo As old Harry Truman said, the buck stops at the presidents desk, therefore Obama is responsible. mo

I do not expect any M & A activity regarding TMUS until after the spectrum auction in the middle of November. I still believe TMUS has an M or A value of $50/share at this time. Assuming the world does not fall apart with the middle east crisis; EBOLA crisis; Russia crisis; N. Korea crisis; and a few other world problems. jmo 1929 the world started to fall apart when a Boston zillionaire sold off most of his stock-the Great Depression..

  • There is only one employer that can afford any wage it chooses-gov't..... Why? Gov't sets the wages as it chooses, like Obama raising gov't wages to $10.10/HR.... What ever gov't wants to pay, to meet those charges, taxes are raised to meet the labor charges. No company in the private sector has this option... think about it.

Most liberals are dreamers. They believe that every one wants to work for their support. This is true, but not if the libs will give them more not to work. Americans ain't stupid. When you think a little, libs are stupid.

I take it you have not paid any attention to the big bucks that democrats pay to continue this socialist agenda, like up to $50,000 contribution to have dinner with the 'head socialist', destroyer of America. JMHO......
