Congrats. CEMP is the only bio on my list that is under priced. The only reason it is discounted is because of what happened to Telithromycin. CEMP does not inhibit the alpha-7 acetylcholine nicotinic receptor; such inhibition is believed responsible for certain adverse effects observed with telithromycin . CEMP will move fast in September unless it is bought out by then.
Congrats to you! Yes. I loaded up under 8.80. I was hoping to get some in high 7"s but CEMP held up like a rock on the 17th . I have some $ left in case there is a 500 point melt down in the market and CEMP gets in 7"s. I was a bit impatient and bought from 12 all the way down but Im still happy. Im pretty much locked and loaded as TAKSTA phase 111 protocol is any day now and phase 111 genital infection should be announced soon. And who knows…..they could get bought out for $27 at any time.
Yea….He is a Rookie. I do not believe the good bio stocks in phase 111 will sell off much unless market corrects 7%. Bio has already corrected a lot and the good companies are close to bargain prices. Look at CEMP for a double in 6 months.
No kidding. With ACAD market cap they would be silly not to. Its not like it is real cheap. 21-26 is probably fair value until November.
Like he can make a difference in the PPS…lol Though Im sure short funds do hire board posters. I don't know how anyone can take a job that dosnt serve mankind ,but thats life.
No CEO,No Pro Athlete,No movie Stars deserve what they get. I wish people would vote boards out, stop going to movies, stop watching Pro Sports. It costs $180 to take kids to watch a ball game now. It sucks to just see people taking advantage.
I picked the pig of the bunch as did those buying the $14 offering.
Good and bad in everything. She may have saved a rookie to sell who was in a bad bio, and she enabled me to get a great bio on the cheap in CEMP. Her picking on a sector ( though she said small bio) was a rookie mistake. You know people saw her speech in advance and the bio sector corrected the week before the speech. So now the bio sector is way over sold. Also a concern is I believe Govnt officials can still trade stocks on info they are voting on etc. USA is more like a " Banana Republic" than we know.
Bottom line for wall street is that they need volatility to make their numbers every year. There hasn't been much volatility this year. The best place to manufacture volatility is the bio sector. I have a hate / love relationship trading bio. Best method is to have a cheap price you are willing to pay, then subtract another 20%. It usually gets there.
I knew Something was fishy yesterday when bio went nowhere on a big up day. Retail is last to know. The key is not letting them scare you out of your shares. They scared me out of VRTX and Celgene in their early stages. I remember when Goldman Sachs said to sell Celgene at 15. Not this time.
I think she means small bio with Phase 1 stocks where analysts touting $40 a share target. Funny thing is that there are thousands of companies of all kinds not making money yet. Not just bio tech. Some bio are good deals now, others not so much. We will know about ACAD a lot sooner than a bio in stage 1 .
More weak hands gone. Thats OK with me. And it is most likely 2 short funds pushing it down by lowering the bid and selling their own stock lower to force a sell off. I hope it gets to 18 again so I can buy more.
Just read it. I was thinking that the small bio's have corrected pretty good already and I she stated that. So why pick on bio then? I know some bio isn't worth a single penny, some are fairly priced and some may be pricey as their drugs will get marketed most likely. Seems about the same in every industry, right? Well…….just another market occurrence that lets people buy in to the good bio I guess.
Yup. Sad isn't it. And you know bio is always the sector they target. Easy fast money in a short if you know the attach is coming. And its Great for those waiting patiently to buy in to the really good bio's though.
