The Non complicated Gono trial will be frustrating and this is why. I truly believe that if everyone in the trail is a confirmed" non complicated" and all the patients take care of themselves after dosing including no sex,no drinking of alcohol ,eating right, no other drugs including recreational drugs then Soli would most likely be near 100% just like the phase 11 results. Unfortunately the trail was mostly gay men from what I heard. I could see it coming in at 82% and the market selling Cemp off which is just silly as Gono is just some icing on the cake. The children and other can be treated with a safe Macrolide is what they want and will confirm. Soli will be used for Gono even at a worst case scenario 75% success rate as the FDA knows there will be at least 20% reinfection rate and 5% complicated Gono in that demographic. JMHO
General american added 324,000 shares.BB bio added 100,000. Tredje is a new holder of 160,000 shares, Calif public employees added 95,000 shares . The smart money is adding to the mis priced PPS as the skittish retailers bail. This is how money is made in the market. Buying great companys on the cheap.
#$%$ in their pants every day. How much pain would they suffer if Cemp was bought for $60 tomorrow? There is a different dynamic today. She actually stated Cemp was for sale yesterday in every way possible without actually saying it. Cemp could be sold any day now. Theses shorts do not sleep well owning Cemp....believe me. Why they picked a bio with a billion dollar drug going on the market is beyond me.
On the question to Prabhavath on buy outs it sure sounded as if she said she wanted a sale of Cemp but at her price thus the posturing and following thru to market Soli. This is the first time she somewhat hinted to all shareholders that one way or another we are all going to make good money. One of her better conferences. If Cemp ever goes below 15, I will forever say that this stock market is not even close to being efficient but on the positive side a stupid market will always let you get in on a good company cheap because of it. It is not really fair to the few that held huge speculative positions on the outcome of phase 111 and they deserve a big payoff yet a year later people can buy in for just a few dollars over that day. Oh well.
Huh? You must have a lot of time on your hands to write these kind of responses that make no sense and are not constructive in any way. It seems you are a message board junky that just cant keep your hands off the key board.
One day does not make a market but the IBB and Cemp has been heavily slammed compared to the over all market. Over sold big time. No one knows where the bottom is but if you are a long term holder Cemp looks pretty sweet in the 17's.
Cemp sitting around where it traded the day Soli killed in the phase 111 oral. Just unbelievable. I bought a few more today.
Most clinical-stage biotechs are at their 52 week lows. Even the ones that have great prospects. The problem is 99% of these stocks are still in trials. Cemp is one of only a couple of bio that has a billion dollar drug that is 100% approvable in a few months. Soli will be priced very low and it that has corrected with the market up until Friday. Maybe Cemp separates from the pack at this point going forward or maybe it fades a little bit if the IBB craters. The one thing we do know is that the market has taken notice of Cemp Friday as being unjustly pounded on and that Cemp is only one of a few bio's stocks that does have a clear path to profitability with a billion dollar drug on the market soon. We have a winner.
“The results of this study are exciting because solithromycin demonstrated efficacy comparable to moxifloxacin, with a safety profile similar to the most widely-used macrolide antibiotics. This shows the potential to restore the use of macrolide monotherapy for CABP.
The difference is......A respected doctor confirmed the excitement of having a powerful, safe macrolide to use again. We have a winner guys. Floroquinilones are out and confirmed.
You are blind then. The market needed to be reminded that this billion dollar drug got sold off with the market. I told everyone 17 was the bottom. I know you supposedly rock solid longs that sold your shares and you want 12 dollar shares but it aint happening.
Somebody has to call out these short lies. At least I give facts to back up my claims. Pumpers and shorts do not give debate, facts, information. That is not me. You need serious help.
Not a Crammer fan but his quote:The problem is that investors are too short-sighted, said Cramer, the co-manager of the Action Alerts PLUS portfolio. Instead, investors should look at the future earnings potential of biotech companies.
He states the pricing debate during the elections but Cemp should not be included or penalized in this issue.
Up almost a dollar on this kind of news. Imagine the pops that are coming in the next couple of months on profound news. I big pharma partner would be a 4 buck pop or higher as if its big pharma they will most likely be the buyer as well. If you noticed the shorts posting like crazy lately it is because they can see that Cemp will not be going below the 52 week lows. No way,no how. The cream in bio will rise.
All points are lies and wrong. #5 ? It is just under a billion and maintaining because all the owners and analysts are 100% believers that A macrolide as powerful as a floroquinilone will take over the market. Why would they prescribe a dangerous drug when they now have soli. You guys better cover. No partner yet? Maybe a deal in the works and PPS would spike. and/or .....The buyout could be this week for $60.
I will answer one of the dumb shorts . This is for all the new Cemp holders that are not familiar with Soli. Macrolides are and always were the preferred drug of choice for CABP but ZPAK is worthless now due to resistance. Floroquinilones are being used but are dangerous and now have new black box warnings. They are not used in Europe and other countries for this reason. This leaves Soli with a big chunk of the market. If Soli gets only 15% of patients of its indications it will be over a billion in revenue easily. The reiterations are starting to float in from analysts about how cheap the PPS has become
I would have thought all antibiotic companies might be up in sympathy with the recent virus scare even though Soli is for bacteria in that at any time Soli could be used for any future bacterial epidemic.
I agree. The longs believe......When the Doc's start getting comfortable prescribing SoliI the word will spread. They will then be very happy to stop prescribing Floroquinilones. Its not only what you buy, it is also the price you get it for. All bio always gives you a nice entry point if one is patient enough. That time has arrived. Cemp will get bid up again......soon.
